Whenever you get a rotor stuck, just use a bolt with a nut and push the rotor by wrenching the bolt. "This trick save me a lot of time"

I agree with the screws on the rotors unless it a VW that doesn't have a stud conversion keeps the rotor from hiding the lug bolt threads and make you very frustrated
@redhenracing27 ай бұрын
That checks out, definitely worth getting rid of that oem lug bolt setup. Frustrating in several directions

I like using the bronze colored cobalt drill bits from Napa. They last like twice as long as the normal cheap "titanium" ones that are gold colored. Worth the money
@redhenracing27 ай бұрын
Do you know how to sharpen them? It's getting expensive buying new drill bits every time they go dull

Any particular reason you didn't lube the caliper slides? Are they muli piston grabbi bois that don't slide?
@redhenracing27 ай бұрын
No particular reason, just not something I ever think about doing as a regular "while we're in there" maintenance. How often do you do those, every pad change?

The GTI is going to need new brakes and rotors soon.

I like your videos, especially the MX-5 ones. What drain do you use on the MX-5?

The Fumoto drain we use on the Miata is part number 106S
