Another expensive lesson. The universal Q-lock is so strong it pulled an atomic layer off my phone and it fell as I was riding. As you can guess the phone did not survive. The regular case for Q-lock is great and no issues but don't get the universal. If you don't have a phone that Q-lock is compatible with forget it. I still have the universal as a trophy, it still has the atomic layer of my phone lol. P.s. I had the Qlock with the vibration dampener attached.

Are you talking about the sticky adapter that you just put on whatever you want? If so, 100% agree. We have one that we use on one of our rally tablets, and even though the adhesive holds up well, you're depending on its cohesion with the surface you're sticking it to, and most phone cases aren't great for that. We wound up using gorilla glue around the entire perimeter to hold it in place. You don't try to cheap out with the $15 adapter, get the correct case and it's 100% solid

@@redhenracing2 The stickiness was fine actually. The case of the pixel 4a is plastic. That has a nice smooth surface where the adhesive was more then willing to bond to. The rattling while riding made the phone itself part one layer of plastic away from its case. You can see the indent on the phone where the plastic was pealed away. There is 1 atomic layer thick of plastic stuck to the adhesive on the universal. It is rock solid and thin enough to go through your hand, I can't even chip it away from the adhesive. The case itself seems to have microscopic layers from the interior of the case to the outside. This pulled away like baklava. The universal too the very first layer on top. Make sense?

Yes, no problem at all. Even a 2" only requires minor re-routing and adjustment of some clips.

Look at our more recent video on the JASS rails, the designer is 6' 6" and he fits comfortably. I now fit very comfortably with a helmet on and more adjustability.

@ awesome, thanks. I still can’t really properly test drive an ND, but the ND is my favorite. At 6’4” I have almost 50/50 torso-to-legs distribution and when I sit in an ND, my knees are bent so high up with nowhere to go that they block my hands from turning the steering wheel more than 180°. !

I have the same Vance& Hines exhaust but I do have the T model of the Rebel. I will say that my paint has started to degrade within just one month of having it on. I've tried contacting Vance& Hines with little to no avail. Whilst the exhaust sounds great and improves performance. The finish is shockingly bad and very bad from a company as big as Vance and Hines. I'm not sure whether to paint it or wrap it. As I don't think I'm going to get an answer from vance and Hines anytime soon.

Speaking of weight difference, when I was stationed at Clark Air Base in the Phillipines back in the 80's My Air Force buddy let me ride his brand new 1983 Honda 650 Nighthawk and I fell in love with it. I immediately went to the base Four Seasons store and bought myself one. ($1900.00 USD out the door) Same year and model as his except mine was Red and his was more of a Maroon. Once mine was properly broken in, we did a lot of drag racing. I was always dusting him off the line, and leaving him behind. I told him I was a better driver than he was. He said my bike had more power. So we swapped bikes and I again, dusted his ass. Now mind you, my friend is 6'4" and 230 lbs, I am 5'4" and 138 pounds. My friend was not the brightest Airman in the service and till today I just let him think I was a much better rider than he was!

I think you can pull it off, this install is very intuitive and has great video and printed instructions along with it. You only need a basic set of sockets to get these rigged up, and you can always shoot me a message on IG if you need help 🤙

It does, and it is. At any significant level of competition, the difference is very noticeable. Brandon is my main competition, and the way he one-wheels around some corners when mine is absolutely planted is the main reason I keep beating him, I think. That and my tune are the only differences between our cars, and mine is able to put down the substantial power increase where he can't even get stock power down.

With the top down I change my riding position and feel much more comfortable. Do you think the back lift kit is mandatory, is the seat more comfortable with the kit or without? Best regards.

@metartalo I do think the seat is more comfortable with the back raising kit, especially if you're heavy. Those bolsters are meant for normal,sized people, and putting them back up where they go really does make a difference
