I can’t believe how emotional I’m getting watching Melissa turn around to her interrupting barking dog - like she ALWAYS does - and realizing that soon we’ll have a baby there interrupting everything, too. Hi folks - relatively new (and now massively obsessed) RHAP watcher. I think I’ve heard most of your analysis of the BBCAN cancellation and wanted to make sure it’s known that Global’s parent company is on the brink of filing for bankruptcy, which is likely a significant factor for why they scaled the show back and eventually shelved it. There’s been some recent media coverage of Corus’ financial situation if you’re interested. I wanted to share that as there was some concern about the live feed changes as a sign of things to come based on what transpired with BBCAN but I don’t know if it’s a truly fair comparison. Love everything you do. The pressure cooker was top notch entertainment. Please do a live show in Toronto!

I'll admit this theory is pretty far out there. But, is it possible that this 17th HG is a really big "get" and they feel some type of way about the live feeds and in order for them to be on the show they negotiated with production about it? It's not very likely but depending on the person it could be in the realm of possibility.

Cam gave me very Tychon from BBCAN9 energy, charming physically fit guy that doesn’t really seem to know what the game is but will likely just charm his way to a position where he doesn’t have to and can just comp his way to the end. I think it’s highly likely he’ll be our winner here ngl. Especially if he actually does link up with the older castmates, like yeah maybe they’ll turn on him but what are they gonna do when every endgame Veto is physical and he just wins by default?

Just starting the podcast these are always so fun. Also I went back and watched the interviews on this cast and liking Joseph so much. Really think hes going to be a mess whether it means early boot or makes a deep run think he'll be fun for those of us who like more strategy but also seems like he doesnt take himself too seriously. Also just occurred to me that Robot Chen is choosing war with Robot Taran..so bummed. Why did they think this was a good idea.. Also I liked Kenny..but as someone who started with BB 16 and really liking it so much I watched all seasons, I would be suspicious of Kenny immediately..his voice even sounds like Derrick

Im hoping the 17th House Guest is some AI type twist but its more along the lines of what we saw in the Circle. As an example the Houseguests are introduced to Ashley, a 24 year old substitute teacher who we see a quick 30 second interview from. From that point each houseguest gets to go to the diary room and ask a question to "Ashley" where they will get a response (text/voice modulation) from the real Ashley, a person pretending to be Ashley, and an AI. After seeing the answers each house guest votes for who Ashley is. If Ashley gets the majority of votes, she joins as Houseguest 17 If the imposter gets the majority of votes, they join as Houseguest 17 If the AI gets the majority of the votes, no one, a saboteur, all Houseguests get a slop/no hot water punishment, etc happens.

I feel like Matt is going to make it pretty far (Unless he’s voted off early because he looks like he’ll make it far). I can see him being a bro and working with Rubina on the side. Like big sis, little bro. I can see him taking her to the end because he’ll be able to beat her. I can see Kenny as part of the bros but he’ll be the first to go once they pick off every one else. Idk about T’Kor. I don’t see her fitting in with anyone. I think she can make it pretty far by being a floater. I think Chelsey is going to be the Mecole from last year. Good diaries but bland in the game. Leah looks likely to be in a showmance. Cam wants to be Jared so bad 🙄. I see him being eliminated early. I feel like either Angela and Kimo will be close or Angela and Kenny. I can see Brooklyn hanging with them too. I think I like Quinn and I think Cedric might end up going surprisingly far.
