I love that they are sharing a room. Who cares how many rooms you have kids usually enjoy being together and feel secure at night with a sibling nearby. I think they will love it!!

Jackson is so smart for his age!! You can already tell just by the way he talks. He also seems to understand things pretty fast. It's just so fun seeing your kids grow up! You're doing a great parenting job!! :)

I think the boys should have their own beds like bunk beds even at this age! You could even get them full size bunk beds like missy and Bryan if you want to be able to lay with them and all of that way into their childhood. It's so sweet that they were so excited to have a sleepover!

Hey, Danyell here--when my sisters and I were younger we actually took our bunk beds apart and pushed them together to make one big bed. We loved it--it was like a sleepover :D I hope your boys love their new bed and sleep good for you all.

I think you should still get bunk beds so they have their own spaces even though they are sharing a room.

Nicolette Tsafantakis she said she wants to,I think they are just testing the waters to see how they do, and to help Calvin get used to sleeping downstairs. One of those bedrooms downstairs is supposed to be Calvin’s own room, I saw that in marshmallow test video.

I am glad they are going to share a room! I always shared a room with one of my sisters. Hopefully they are both really sound sleepers and don't move around alot in the bed. This will be fun to watch how it all goes! Good job Mom and Dad!

My kids always did way worse when they shared a room. They played and woke each other up on the morning. The one that always woke up earlier would wake up the one that would sleep in. good luck! I hope it works out better for you!

As a Mum with three boys....I had my two older boys sharing a room from around Jacksons and Calvins ages and it worked perfect...sharing a bed however not a good idea better in their own beds. I would get two singles or bunk beds. If someone is sick or has an accident during the night you dont have to get the other one up so you can change the bed.

Aurielle its to promote sibling bonding. They will look back when they are older and remember sharing when they were kids. Plenty of time for their own space when they are older 👍🏻

I dont see any reason for negativity surely its better to make changes now before the baby comes and calvin feels like thats the reason for the change. At least by then both boys will be settled and then consider buying bunk beds. I think its a great idea to trial it first

Move your plant off the table due to the door to the outside being there. Every time you open the door the cold air will hit it and that is hard on plants.

My 3 boys, shared one room bc they wanted to be together! We had bunk beds on one side and a twin bed on the other side! They loved being together! For about 2 years! ❤😊

Love seeing all these changes with the boys. They're growing up so fast. Also, my sister and I flip-flopped between sharing a bed, having a bunk bed to having two separate bed. Her sons now have a bunk bed.

Bunkbeds are traditional for room sharing....If you decide it works then you should go that direction!

I have a 2 boys too. Oldest one, Cooper, is 2 months younger than Jackson and younger one, Weston, is 2 months younger than Calvin. They have shared a room since we put Weston in his crib at 6 months. Then when Weston went to his big boy bed at 19 months they have shared a full size bed. We plan on getting them bunk beds next Christmas when Cooper is almost 5. The love sharing a bed and get upset if the other one is not in bed at the same time. They snuggle each other and then go sleep. We are also hoping to have another baby this year. We having been trying for a 1.5 years and had a miscarriages in June and November of last year. That is 4 total for me. It has been a tough time, but we know it will happen when it is suppose to.

I wish my kids would share a bed. My kids are two and 3.5 and i tried to have them share a bed but it didn’t work out. They now have their own rooms and my son still comes to my bed at night, but my daughter is just fine in her room.

I can't wait for my girls to share a room. The baby is still getting up at night sometimes. So I'm holding off, plus they sometimes nap at the same time and then sometimes they don't. Hopefully by the time we have a third they will be able to share.

Ellie I strive to be as good of a mother as you are to your sweet sweet babes! It was so cute seeing you and Jackson building the table together. ❤️ I can't wait to see what all you do when you are nesting!😂😍 Bunkbeds are so fun but make me so nervous with littles lol. My boys sleep in the same room in separate toddler beds and they do pretty good. Some nights I have to separate them because they'd rather play and talk to each other instead but. Jared is so loving and supportive. He always seems so happy to help you and do stuff for you. ❤️ I can't wait to see baby #3 in the mix!

Love that Jackson & Calvin are going to be sharing a room together , I think it will help them transition having the same room together before the new baby is born , I agree with the idea of them having bunk beds in a few years . My brothers had bunk beds when I was young , I had my own room & they shared a room together until we moved to a bigger city & all three of us had our own rooms 💕💕💕

Totally! I have 2 girls who are 5 and 2 and we are about to switch them to the same room & bed too! I really think it will help their sleep and then we plan on doing separate beds or bunk beds once they are a bit older. 👍👍

I will never forget the sleep overs i had in my brothers room when i was a kid, we would stay up really late and sneak down to the kitchen when our parents where asleep for snacks. it was always really magical at Christmas time we, It made us so much closer and we still hold the memories we made close to our hearts. I really hope them sleeping together goes well. xxx
