I've already had my fill of Lydia. Being nominated on the first day sucks. No question. But the way you stay is be handling it with grace. She's decided to play the martyr and assume the worst in everyone else. The girl has pretty much signed her death warrant. For the record, Caroline and Adam are my early favorites. Chris and Lukette could be fun as well.

There are competitions in BB:UK. Shopping lists,rewards,immunity from nominations and twists. It's just not meant to be designed as a survival game like the North American game.

US is meant to be a competition, the UK format is designed as a social experiment. Both versions are good, just different games. It's comparing apples and oranges.

exactly. I'm in the US and I love all versions of BB. bbaus, bbcan, bbus and bbuk are all great in different ways. I think my favorite things about BB is the comps (the tasks), DR sessions, the strategy (game playing) and the awesome drama. For me, the bigger the train wreck of a houseguest (housemate) the better.

UK is designed to be a smut and sex fest. US is more of a strategy game.

OMG..This is completely different than The US BB. It is really refreshing to watch the UK one and I like it so far. As a huge BB fan, I was kinda disappointed there are no competitions?, That kinda adds to suspense of the show. The constant shifts of power in the house makes it thrilling to watch. SO basically, these house guests sit around and party until they are evicted from the house? NO HOHs, No veto comp?...I think this show resembles a lot like the Real World without the public voting.

Exactly.... now bbuk11 was more like our US version but still not quite the same. Last season was the first I've seen (seasons 3, 5 thru 11) that had more game playing involved (but the hm's didn't admit to it in their dr's) So it will be interesting to see if this season will be played by more game players than in the past. I hope so. I love the drama that comes with strategic game players. BUT.... Doesn't matter to me though.... I love them all. bbus, bbcan, bbaus and bbuk.

Every season it's mentioned repeatedly how a girl is always the 1st to go. Deana had an opportunity to nominate 3 guys, thereby ending that trend. Instead she did the predictable thing and nominated 2 girls she don't "click" with immidiately along with Conor. From a gameplan perspective, she should've nominated guys, as they always seem to survive over the girls. After 12 seasons, one would think new housemates would learn something from the past.

I get Lydia being upset/pissed off that she was one of the first three nominated , on the first night..but..I am already sick to death hearing her bitch about it. I hope she is the one who goes. And Caroline..did she really look in a mirror before she came inside and think "yeah baby , my hair looks fantastic!" ? It looks horrible.

I had high hopes for Deana but she really fucked this up. She didn't have only 3 minutes to choose, she had an hour of observing and interacting with people as they arrived in the house. At the very least she could have just picked the 3 people she didn't like the most. That said, this happens in EVERY season of BB - idiot HM fucks up the simplest task and wonders why everything has turned to custard, lol. Ashleigh has already moved the topic of conversation to golden showers. Crikey.

I am actually liking Lydia and I like how she was honest with Deana about how she felt. Remember, this is still fresh for her. But I doubt after a nights sleep she is going to feel the same way. At least I hope not. She has some votes to campaign for.

They are one in the same, if they were that different, they would be called different names. BBUK has just chosen to make things more difficult by removing the "game talk" option. Nevertheless, I still find BBUS extremely boring and that is why the ratings are so low; compared to BBUK and BBAUS. It isn't a social experiment, if it was, there would not be any prize money and people would not still be strategizing.
