I remember being fascinated as a lil dude watching all the 60’s at Ladera Park every year at our family reunion kickin it showing love. We live in Dallas now. Watching your videos brings back memories good and bad. One thing for sure, ain’t nothing like south central. Great videos homie.

I don’t understand on why people would dislike videos like these . It’s not promoting gangs what so ever , but telling history as it is . History people !! Let’s not forget the ol’ saying “ if we don’t learn our history and mistakes from the past , then we’ll sure repeat them in the future . This here video , channel in general is a gem in the sense that it brings up history of LA gangs and we as viewers can learn a thing or two instead of being ignorant ones and over look a lot of things . Keep up the good work Kev 👍💯🤜💪

I was 6 years old when the Rollin 60s came together. Chilli Capone, Big F-Bone are great names to hear about and l could only imagine what that night in 1974 was like when the 60s formed. I just wonder why the Westside didn't last any longer. I guess brothas wanted to carve out their own image and rep just so they can stand out on their own. Big Props to Baby S Mac (quietly we need to hear from him as well) and Big Cat for letting us maniacs get an inside perspective on the legendary Rollin 60s. Thanks Big Kev for all of this great inside info on the Rollin 60s. Hands down you're the best. You won't say it but this Square from Ohio will. You are the best and yes you set the standard on how this should be done. Peace!!! #Salute!!!

At 10:00, Baby S-Mac asked about Neighborhood 62 and its potential connection to the original 6-0 hand sign, an “n” for Neighborhood. Was the choice of name coincidental, or was there a relationship to E/S NHC 62, aka, 62 ECC (salute Big Quake, Big Larry “LaLa”, and Big Dennis “Dino/Deeno”)?
@joemosely93835 жыл бұрын
Anthony Hachett lived on 62nd.st & Cimarron and started a Gang called w/s 62 N/Hood in (1973-74). Odie Shaw & Raymond Potts lived on 65th street and started a gang called w/s 65 N/Hood in the (early-70s) too. Its logical,that these dudes are the reason for Neighborhood Crips in the w/s Sixtys. Hopefully Kev Mac climbs that latter to the Older Westside Crips that planted Crips in the w/s Sixtys.

@Brian Lester Kev Mac is documenting Black history... I bet you watch war movies and cheer when your side wins. But of course, you think wars between countries is different... You are a hypocrite! By documenting the localized conflicts and struggles in the black community we have now come to know the human beings who lost their lives in these conflicts. Their lives had the same value as any soldier who died in the countless banker wars fought over opium or oil fields. Like it or not these are our stories and they need to be documented by us. @Brian Lester I waited to respond to your last post because it appears you have been really busy trolling the KMV community. As aforementioned "Like it or not this is our history and it should be documented by us!" Couple questions: How old are you? What are the Dumb Ducks? And is that your set? Brian Lester are you over here set trippin... trying to bang on the low? How many times have you and the homies watched the movie Colors? Of course, I'm being sarcastic to make this point. Maybe you feel so strongly about KMV because secretly admire him. It's okay, most marks, nerds and busters live vicariously through their heros. Its really no big deal. I'm sure lots of people are on his channel for the same reasons. So put on your rag (L for crips R for Bloods... I think just check out some of Kevs videos to confirm) invite your Dumb Ducks crew over and have fun... Don't forget to make a Donation.
