Solid brother a brother of honor...Mump said he always leaves a person a way out...My brother Bobby taught us too never totally surround your enemy. That would make them fight that much harder causing more harm to us as well..I share the same principle as mump..If I don't know you no matter what you call yourself I have no beef with you.....Mump is definitely a brother that would have been welcomed in my circle.....Brother Mump may our creator direct you in the path of those he FOUND favor in...Jimmy the Bishop.......ps...Hopefully making cal Mac top ten...Number 2 at that...I hope for another interview surpassing you will be very difficult but I will...peace be with you...

Wow! This was the most well-narrated, attention-grabbing interview you've had this season (imo), Kev Mac. It was like a movie was playing in my head while he was talking. Big Mumpy's a hell of a story-teller. The message was powerful too. 1. He was forced to ally with his "enemies" in the pen. 2. After serving 37 years of his life, he came home to find that his hood had morphed into something different. The love was gone. Also, the pictures and the music went well with the content.

Hey man, I’m not sure how it was possible to get better than one and two, but it just did. This is the #1 KMV as it stands right now. How is this man so sharp and on point with all of his history?? I think the thing that puts Mumpy over the top is the charisma, emotion and energy though. What a interview.. I was sure he was gonna say the hooks name cuz he was damn sure contemplating it LOL 37 years locked down and comes out shining. I like the love and respect he shows Kev Mac. It’s a major reason why the interview is as good as it is as well. I doubt if he would open up with his story like he did with some random dude. Big respect and thanks as always Kev Mac, chalk another one up in the long list of epic KMVs!!!!!!

There's a dope song by Damian Marley and Nas Ft, K'naan titled Tribal War that speaks on this topic. It's an incredible song on a lot of different levels. If you go to 2;10 of the song it say's everything the OG said. It's crazy how this story is bigger than just gang warfare. I feel like I owe Kev Mac some money for all these jewels he's releasing to the streets. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5PWpHd-fqycbMk

Rollin 60s, ETGs, and Hoovers had to get along for a greater cause. Survival of all of us, which is what's most important and when you return to the Set, how does that prison politics affect the things that's going on in the Streets and l also wanted to give a S/O to Big Rick for handling thing like an OG should. I also love how Big Mump broke the Generations down in the Rollin 60s History. Love the info Big Mumpy is providing and thank you and Big Kev Mac for all of this. It simply can't get beat. Peace!!! #Salute!!!

Amazing interview and the way I judge content is based on how I feel after watching ; for example a good movie can inspire you to do better, reach higher, change your life this content made me feel uncomfortable it provoked a sinking empty feeling inside it made me question my actions growing up in San Diego "Lincoln Park". I never killed anyone, but I promoted this gangbang bs, I look at this brother and wonder with that personality, wit and charisma that was wasted with this subculture of ours, I never met this brother, but I would get along with him fine, he walked out of prison as a man and that's lacking in our black communities I hope some of the younger brothers listen and taken heed this man is a living legend a breathing monument of information, God Bless you Mumps

Big Mump just got bumped up into my top 5 hands down..... Maybe number one with that story.... I could actually visualize everything like I was watching a movie..... Now if we could get some ETGs to tell their side would be a hell of dialogue but either way this platform is the shit 💯

What he’s saying at the end really resonates with me. Truth of the matter is, this lifestyle at its core is the same no matter where you are. The exact same reason he gave for the decline of his hood is the exact reason why I turned away from what was going on where I’m from, 2,000 miles away. When the most loved, respected and reputed niggas start getting taken out by our own... niggas that was so official their worst enemy couldn’t do nothing wit em, I knew this shit wasn’t nothin I wanted a part of. Niggas is striving to be as infamous as the Gs of old and have set a foul standard that even those Gs don’t want any part of.

Kev Mac, have you approached HBO and Showtime with your story. I think it could be better than the Wire which was a classic.

Og big mumpy spoke real well every subject he spoke on was 100% real, in 1979 of March I was at the rosecrans skating ring that day when that incident happened I remember it like yesterday that's the first time I seen lil mumpy and big petite wacc, you can say what you want about them cats but it's two things I know either you loved them or hated em but you had to respect them because they were a force to be reckoned with real talk, much respect Big Mumpy stay solid my brother.
