The students protested against the Quota system, which was reserved for freedom fighters' relatives, almost 35%. Despite the quota being reduced from 35% to almost 5% by the respected court of the state, the protest turned violent turning into a bloodbath. Undoubtedly, the jamiat-islamists along with bangladesh nationalist party run by demis of Kahaleda jia members have instigated the entire peaceful protest.
