Facts. Asmongold doesn't play games anymore, unless he is paid to stream a new game on Twitch. Since 2020/21, he's played a lot of different new games, but only for 15-30 hours top, and then he never comes back nor talks about it again. And I understand him. The issue with the punishment is accountability. When I was in boot camp, yeah, same thing - if you got in trouble everyone got punished. Everyone will make your life hell if you get them punished. So your accountable to everyone else. I don't see that dynamic here? Just a thought.

This is what I like about Chance, he interacts with his audience. I asked about the idea of alliance vs horde in a couple of chats and got shit talked lol so I thought i'd send the question to chance over TTS, great he's thinking along the same lines! I think it's great idea, be like the trilogy - Alliance, Horde, Alliance vs Horde. You could have the point system as it is now for races to compete over tribute chest, and overall points determines which faction wins a bonus and the other gets punishments for all the races. Be good for Mak'gora and RP, can also compete on raid progression. I'd vote for Esfand or Xaryu as co-GM with Chance, but Asmon being a degen would make for good content lol

You could add a system where the time played by each race is a factor. For example, if undead have the most time played X hours, then that's the base line. If tauren have Y hours played, where X>Y, the points of tauren will be POINTS = points of tauren * (X/Y) X/Y will be bigger than 1, so tauren will get a litte bit of boost to their points compaird to undead which will have a factor X/X=1. This will take activity of each race and their population into account, and may help with the balancing

@@Garoslol from what I have seen, their addon person is very knowledgeable and it's very much not impossible. The addon can log when a character login and out, then calculates the minutes played and finally add that to a weekly time played for that character or race.

We had this thing in an online game where if we failed to kill the raid monster, we'd roll the dice for the loot that we didn't get. If the raid monster dropped normally 3 items, then the 3 highest rolls from the raid group were really bummed and everyone else didn't feel just as bad for failing because they would have gotten nothing out of it anyway. Punishment is the same in this regard. It might be momentarily miserable for the one who catches it, but everyone else will be relieved to not have to go through with it.

I think it would be fun if players who hit 60 made a alt that they can soul link to players with over 5 deaths If soul link breaks then the alt must also be vanquished but if the alt makes it to 60 with the soul link then the factions receives massive points Maybe even make these soul link alts be considered a prestige mode to champion of the race status which means anything they do is extra points on that account for every time they prestige a 60 alt Do like 10% increase in points for every lvl60 champion of the race that person has on thier on the account Then champions of the race could even go into a secondary point system where they can use those points to secure raid spots Then when a punishment is for a entire race to not get raid invite it gives a chance for the champion of the race to nomination people to get raid spots regardless of punishment

I think, from what I've seen ingame, the point-system should be adjusted based on race-population Ie there's more undead and trolls, which equals there are more people to earn points, generally. The losing races do also have less populations, especially tauren. (Yes there's more to lose points aswell, but lets be honest, its not like races go negative by the end of the week). This also means that with less population, the negative points has a bigger impact on the overall score When summing the score at the end of the week it should be the overall points within that race, divided by the number of people in that race. That would create an fair and even average based on population I might ofc be wrong, but this is from what I've seen when watching ingame and on streams
