Some of us old lads never had such things. For spreading fertiliser we pa ed the field out and put empty 50kg feed bags down as markers to aim for

Bog Oak -- Ground Penetrating Radar To Scan For Bog Oak Near The Surface Bog Oak could potentially damage the mowers resulting in very expensive repairs. If the fields were scanned with ground penetrating radar before being mowed and any Bog Oak near the surface is removed it would save what could potentially be very very expensive repairs to the mowers when cutting silage. This applies to all crops not just silage fields. Possible reduction in insurance payments if fields are scanned for Bog Oak with ground penetrating radar before the mowers cut the grass. Above is a very simple straight forward procedure that could potentially save very very expensive repairs to mowers and other farm machinery.

Bog oak is only found in wet acidic conditions _ that doesnt apply in every land type

Right... DISCLAIMER: I'm just a farm simulator idiot. Can someone tell me what I'm missing. These forage harvesters like the Krone cost - a lot. You don't tedder the grass after mowing, it looks like you mow, windrow, pickup dump at bunker. If I was doing that on farm sim, i'd have a front mower and a forage harvester trailer. The front mower is only as wide as the tractor and is a perfect width for the pickup on the trailer. It's way cheaper on machinary, uses less men, and you do less passes on the field. This video: Tractor with big mower. Tractor with windrower. Forage harvester emptying into multiple Tractor trailers. 3 stages. Lots of kit Me: 3.1m front mower, Strautmann Magon pickup, tractor. 2x, 3x this and it's less stages. The mower is smaller but you skip the windrowing and the very expensive krone overall it's similar time just way way cheaper. Now, I know that sounds like me saying 'i know better...' But really I'm curious why in the real world this doesn't seem to be true? Or use a DISCO 9700 RC AUTO SWATHER. to at least skip windrowing.

Why don’t they use the merger on the mower?
@AgriLifeIreland7 ай бұрын
Farmer wanted it to dry id say
@hughmarcus17 ай бұрын
I’d imagine the crop was too wet. Merging that width would result in some pile of grass.

Contractors must be very easygoing in that part of the country. None of the lads around here would tolerate a field gap like that one at 8mins. It's ridiculous to find at this stage.
