I have a sensitive scalp like scarlet and when I was a kid my parents thought i was just throwing a fit about brushing my hair but i didn't know to communicate that it hurts me more than other people. My sister loves the feeling of her hair being brushed. Once they learned that was the problem they only used soft brushes and only brushed it from the ends up in very small strokes.
