Hi, I will be starting my masters degree OF MASTER OF HEALTH LEADERSHIP POLICY from UBC. I applied for my study permit application in April. Received the PORT OF ENTRY LETTER. What category of PGWP will I be in? Will I require the field of study code as I am doing it in a PUBLIC UNIVERSITY?

No if your TRF is valid then i jist have to upload that one for pgwp but it must clb 6 or more than 6

I’ve got an offer from conestoga college. The name of the course is Embedded Systems Development. The course is not in the list. But the course obviously should come under STEM. Please guide what should I do.

Don’t take this course .. this is waste of time and money.. when i came to canada in 2015 i have seen so many student took this one and non of them found job based on that course. Save yourself from hassle

Do not come to Canada you will not get job PR will be difficult.

@@rupamgupta2225you will not get the pgwp if you have not got your student visa . If your student visa comes before 1st November you might be lucky . Getting pgwp can be more stringent in near future . So it is going to be tough with your course .

After just Grade 12, a college program of a computer systems technician is not useful in gaining employment. These times in Canada are very bad and the economy is in severe recession. No jobs are available for any skills. Please finish an undergraduate degree in compuer science or engineering, then apply for a masters degree at a university, not a college.
