To all those kids watching and reading the comments here, if you're coming to study here firstly choose your course WISELY. Do some research yourself. Also if possible don't come after 12th and even immediately after graduation, come with some experience of atleast 3-5 yrs. The job market is very very very tight! You need to have some experience to get a job or else you'll be asked to leave the country. Lastly this will get a lot of hate, but don't come here with just one goal of PR, come here with a plan, what do you plan to do or work as. Have some extra goal in life. Here both the folks without PR and with PR are struggling. This will sound stupid but probably other cities in India are doing really well like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune. Looks for opportunities there, your life is far better there with a decent office job. This especially goes to folks from Punjab, I'm seeing a lot of Punjabis struggling here. Please think 10 times before coming here.

If you graduated from a university bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctoral degree program no additional field of study requirement only ielts 7 need.. No one talk about this don't know why...most of the student apply for either bachelor’s degree or master’s degree so they can select any pogram. and you will get pgwp.. this rule effect mostly diploma and certificate type of pograms... so select bachelor’s degree or master’s degree and you don't need to worry about anything.

Hiring process shoud also be way more rigorous. canadian employer should show proper attempt to hire pr or citizen first at market rates. My all other classmates have study permit until 31 July, 2025. My passport was expiring on 20 May, 2025 so I only got study permit until 19 May, 2025. Do we need to sit for language test to get PGWP if we have already given ielts to get into university?

Hi, i applied for my pgwp in sept 2024 and have received work permit by govt for one year even after my 2 year courses due to some negligence from my side in documents. Now i have to apply for two years extension via paper based. i just need to know before submitting my file, would i need to give english test? even if my file was before nov?

Bilkul sahi hai. Main India mein international student thi, na mujhe kam karna allowed tha aur na hi PR ka koi scene tha (woh to mujhe chahiye nahi tha). I completed my studies and went back to my country and koi qayamat nahi ayee, a few years later I applied for Canadian immigration and came here.
