[Big Char!]Bait finesse fishing in small rivers in northern Hokkaido, Japan!

This time we're off to Hokkaido, the uppermost basin of the river in early summer!
And we had our first guest! Shuhei Sato, a professional snowboarder and Olympic athlete, was our guest angler and we had a great session together.
For the past four or five years, I've been fishing mountain streams for rainbows at this time of year, but this season, I'm changing my targets and approaching new ones.
Of course, the tackle is bait finesse, and the style is not mainstream fishing, but "targeting upstream char" in small rivers and mountain streams!
Anyway, I went to a new river with as little information as possible and focused on encountering trout on my own...
The water was swollen and muddy from the rain, making it difficult to clear the area.
I spent a lot of time selecting the river, but I managed to find the ideal point...
It was a new target for us, and of course it was all new rivers, so it took a lot of effort and time to get the features and experience.
However, I was able to encounter the best rainbow trout. The maximum size was 65cm...this was amazing!
And the Megabass ONETEN LBO is overwhelming, this is really a masterpiece.
It's all about the timing....
You just have to experience both good times and bad times to know the timing.
In the end, we traveled 2000km...the most ever in one trip. This experience will be a great asset for me in the future.

こんにちは 素晴らしいアメマスですね。私は若い頃北海道道南地区に住んでいたことがありまして、 地元の釣具屋にも巨大アメマスの魚拓や写真がよく並んでいたものでした。 仕事の行き帰り、取引先への行き帰りに抜け目なく渓流をチェックしたものでした。 これほど巨大なアメマスは釣ったことはありませんが、そういう可能性のある渓流が日常の生活範囲に多数存在したことが貴重でした。 休日にゆっくり朝寝坊して,どこの川に行こうかな～と出発して、30台後半～40センチ台のイワナを多数釣って帰ってくる訳ですから。 また、イワナではありませんが、道南地区の渓流の浅瀬で、背びれを出して泳ぐ巨大ブラウン（新巻鮭くらいの大きさはあったので、70センチくらい？）を目撃したことがあり、ルアーを投げても無視され、捕獲できるはずもないのに思わずそのブラウンを追いかけました。（逃げられましたが） ヒグマの恐怖はありましたが、一生経験できないような釣果を経験しました。 チャンネル登録しました。ご活躍を期待しています。

nice fish on! 北海道のマイナーな川でリリースするならトリプルフックは3本はやや抵抗があります。うぶな雨マスはシングルフック2本でも大丈夫ですよ(^_^);;
