Yep, that’s the way Big Chief works. Always playing the games. He is the number 1 reason that they’re losing their fan base. If you go back and watch a lot of the older episodes he always gives himself the advantage. If he wasn’t the race master, I don’t think he would be way up on the list like he usually is. Need a non racer as race master (Farmtruck or AZN). That way everyone is on an even playing field.

As long as they been racing (years)and knowing the street curfew. Why does cheif make a bye run to test his car? Does anyone else make a bye run? And that 1 extra run ran them out of time for the street. Ryan doesn't do drama and always gives whoever the benefit of the doubt. Even if he believes Cheif BS that race, he would never say anything bad anyway. Because in the end he already knows he is the fastest and its only a delay of what is soon to come.

He makes a bi run to get data on the street. No matter how many times you go down the road, it's going to change as weather changes. To load a fairly hot tune in the car, not knowing if it'll go or not, is much easier when you're not racing for a spot or competition.

Why don’t you explain those “rules” since you know so much? Last I checked, everyone that draws one is allowed to run a bye run. Their cars need time to cool down and pull data. Ryan ran his race and got data, chief is allowed the same. They crammed in more races in 1 night than they ever had and fell a few minutes shy of completing it. Quit acting like chief was faking a break in his car to buy himself time when you can clearly see he’s struggling to get it right. $10k is on the line as well as #1 spot. I do feel like Cheif every year bends the system to give himself an advantage. It could be for the show to make it more drama packed but if it's real life he knew what he was doing.
