It has almost the same weather as Portland Oregon in the US.
@benwars9524Күн бұрын
It does not. Incidentally the weather may be similar sometimes, but climatewise Portland-Oregon is much warmer than Warsaw, especially in winter. You probably had Portland-Maine in mind. This one is indeed similar to Warsaw.

Behind you you can see the former buildings of the veterinary faculty at the beginning of the tram report. I studied there. This will be the headquarters of Synfonia Varsovia. The building you liked on Roundabout Charles de Gaulle was the building of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. This building was the first headquarters of the Stock Exchange after the fall of communism. This is called irony. The building next door, which is being renovated, is the National Economy Bank, built before the war. The tenement house that previously stood there housed the first Milk Bar, opened in 1898. You have to go to the E.Wedel Factory with your child. The multimedia and interactive Chocolate Museum was opened there this summer.

@@MJEscapades-g4l Thank you for your New Year's wishes and I wish you happiness, peace, health and prosperity in the New Year. 🍾🍸😉 I recommend the Polish Vodka Museum for adults, the Warsaw Uprising Museum for the whole family, and the Copernicus Science Center and the Cosmos Illusion Museum for the youngest. The Vodka Museum is located in the Prague district. It was a former 'Koneser' vodka factory. This is a complex similar to the Powiśle Power Plant or the Norblin Factory.

About Warsaw's winter - obvously it's not as cold as Finland's, but this year 2024 has been extremely mild in the Polish capital city, it has had only 9 freezing days here (with maximum daily temperature below zero Celsius). Just to compare - the average number of such days for 2011-2020 is 26, for 2001-2010 - 39 (!). Climate warming has been increasingly intense over here.

Would it be possible to do an escapade INSIDE the Palace of Culture and Science? I read it has an observation deck. Maybe a view from the deck and views of the interior architecture? Just an idea. 😊
