Pat Musi was on Wes Bucks show that watches the NPK show live. Pat was talking about the situation and said, if Justin would have warned Kye about the rule at the chip draw that there would be no problem. Wes stopped Pat and said that Justin told Kye during the chip draw and even rolled it back so Pat could see it, after seeing it Pat mumbled something and went on about it.

To be a co driver so big country can at least get some sleep to be fresh. great job with the grind this past season. To come out of the box with this new car, crew, series against the best out there. It's a hell of an accomplishment. You guys have a great Christmas!

Corey (Big Country) was raised the same way as I was. My father raised us to be honest and hard working but most of all be a man. I wrestled and my brother was a boxer and we were taught to walk away from a fight if possible and to defend ourselves at all times. I’m glad my father instilled this in us and we were able to raise our boys the same way. Justin handled himself like a man and I’m sure Corey and Melissa are very proud him.

Let’s be real, these no prep tracks at NPK events are just as good as most prep’ed tracks after a couple rounds. So it makes since to test on a prep’ed surface. Even more since to go make some passes during a pro mod or big tire event.

Love you guys, the racing, the channel, and the podcast! Justin, I talked with big country at the Orlando promod event briefly. One thing we talked about was how hard the schedule was with all the miles. That it would be even harder if you do NPK and americas list or what ever on the street next year. I was kinda joking and offered to come work for y’all as your hauler driver. I am a well experience class a CDL holder since 2008. But in all seriousness, having a dedicated hauler driver would take a lot off y’all’s plate and undoubtedly help ya out! I’d kill for an opportunity to come to work for y’all and join the team! I already knew, and he told me that everyone on the team is volunteers. I couldn’t volunteer myself as I’m a grown ass man with a grown ass man’s bills, lol. If y’all do decide to hire a hauler driver, hit me up.

Good show Justin! Your dad is a boss and I see a lot of you in him. Just my 2 pennies, if I was building a 2nd car, and you had prenup where it’s at, I would be building a “street” specific car, the way you built a no prep car. Figure out the geometry you need your 4 link and where it needs to be centers and your extra holes where you need them for adjustments. Get that front end loose AF, and mid plate back as far as possible. Those dirty ass streets won’t ever be as good as a no prep kings track. Also, make sure you can throw some small tires on it too!

Speaking of the weight thing and a lighter driver....when my Dad was the crew chief on Doug Herberts top fuel car, it was 60lbs overweight but what he figured out was because Doug was such a heavy driver 260lbs. that when the track got good and tight he could apply more clutch to it because it transferred the weight more to the tire versus with a lighter driver he couldnt get as aggressive...to this day Doug still holds 4th quickest top fuel 1/4 mile in history(4.441) and that was back in 2005! People dont understand inertia and think lighter is always better!

I 100% agree with BC. Why breakout a new car next season when your dad has all that data and it just ran 203mph with a 3.73. Just run PreNup next year and test the new car in the next off season. Only makes sense. Its gonna put a ton of pressure on the crew, your dad, and you for that matter. I think it'll pay huge dividends 2 season's from now.
