Thanks for sharing an all you guys do. Big country i have street raced since the early 80s in Savanah Ga and raced guys all over the area up there an even raced with guys out of SC an NC. I dont ever remember be beat with a bbc in 72 vette. I raced here in fla in the early 90s till 2002 or so. I had the 87 vette that was purple on 26 10 tires an the best thing i had in the car was the nitrous master mind that was a big pain to wire but that thing would let you get down any road. I won i lot with that car. The car had two plates cheater an big shot and big shot was controlled by master mind 136 120 jets 72 56 in cheater. That car was fast for what it was an went 8.63 167 mph at the track. I know you guys challenged me with the nova i have now but there was no way in hell i could race the black mustang. I can say i love to race and talk shit an always respected you guys and my little money was never going to out run you guys 😅 Be safe guys thanks again for sharing.

Really dig your show, today was my first listen. I'm hooked for sure. I'm a few years younger than your Dad. I street raced in the Boston area in the 90s. He had me crackin up when he was talking about the MSD rev limiter chips. Hearing him & Jim talk about their early days were right on the money. The really fast guys were in the 10s & the quick guys were in the low 11s. And everything was 1/4 mile. Great job, really enjoyed listening.

We only feel that way cuz we like him.. everybody had the same rules to follow so please tell me how he got screwed more than anyone else? If Damon would have won then Kye would have got screwed after winning all those events and running up front every single year I feel like the right person one according to the rules that they were going by so nobody actually got screwed just seems that way to the person that would have won had it been last year's rules but it never was so to even bring it up is stupid.. Damon's not whining about it he knew this years rules

I was the same way during my racing days. I got my fix on the track and drive like an old man on the street lol. As far as the race with Axe and Dean, I literally seen an NPK race get a rerun because the tree malfunctioned so on the street if the flagger makes a mistake it's gonna be a rerun 100% of the time. Jim how would you have felt if you lost a race because the flagger made a mistake?
