When Big Country pulled Mike Murillo out of his flaming car, he made an impression on all of us. In my book, Big Country is a.GODDAM HERO MIKE WAS IN GRAVE TROUBLE AND WAS SECOND FROM DEATH WHEN BIG COUNTRY RIPPED THAT DOOR OFF OF THAT CAR AND PULLED HIM OUT WELL FLAMES WERE BITING AT HIS ARMS. WHEN HE WAS SITTING ON THE GROUND WITH HIS ARMS, UNDERNEATH MIKES HANS DEVICE, THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST MOMENT IN NPK HISTORY.

Love the talks with Big Country. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Armageddon when he was helping Shawn. Was shocked he was there but was very cool he came out to help! I know he downplays his tuning but many people have said he’s one of the TOP tuners in the game!! His attitude, confidence, and over all demeanor is just awesome

I’m with ya Big Country. I am Ford to the bone but I race a 1970 Nova. But I used to have a badass Fox Body but I don’t like putting Chevy parts on a ford and after I put the powerglide in the Mustang it just turned my stomach and I bought a Nova.

I’m not sure what happened to Stevie’s deal with Team Terrorist racing but it’s funny that’s he is tuning Fregios car and not doing shit, 😅but all of Stevie’s old team is working on Team Terrorist cars for Bond, Thorne, Balooshi and they seem to be the dominant cars, so is it Stevie, or Phil Shuler and Billy Stocklin. I used to be a big Stevie fan but after a while his same old shit talking has got old, and I think he is jealous of the Street Outlaws because they have not came and begged him to be a part of it, and NPK guys are making more on merch sales then he would get for winning 2 nhra events, same thing as Donald

You mentioned how the podcast is really blowing up. In my opinion it's because you all are straight shooters and not afraid to speak your mind. By the way I have become an even bigger Jim Howe fan after seeing him on your show. He seems a lot like your dad. The TV show often doesn't show us the true person we're seeing. I guess you can't have heroes without villains, except Big Country, I'm glad he mentioned the Murillo incident, he single handed most likely saved Mike from some really serious injuries, burns, maybe even saved his life. He deserves so much more credit than he's probably willing to accept for that.

Bro I love your racing program. You really need to keep your trophies. You will miss them one day. I used to have a lot of first place trophies from archery tourneys, and I got rid of them in a remodel. I really miss being able to look back on history and see all my accomplishments now that I'm older. It's hard to admit when your hustling that dads right especially at your age it's real hard to admit dad's right because in our younger lives we all have felt like we know more than our smarter parents....

I completely agree with BC, there's going to come a time in the distant future where you'll enjoy looking at those trophies and the memories they hold. You can't buy or replace shit like that. I don't get why Stevie Fast is always dogging street outlaws and NPK either. I love Stevie man but if it bothers him that much then he should build an NPK car and come and race the NPK guys because nobody in NPK ever mentions Stevie. He dogs street outlaws like he dogs turbos. I get a lot of it is just Stevie trolling but it's just getting old now.

Pops is absolutely right. Trophies are important remember the Baltimore Colts that’s right Before the Ravens. The colts belonged to Baltimore. They snuck out the city in the Middle of the night on a Mayflower truck and took the Trophies. They had to return them Trophies. They belong to the fans of that team and that city that supported them. Hell every time a Mayflower truck went through there. They wouldn’t stop with out getting vandalized for years
