hugely underrated and under appreciated band, all outstanding musicians, countless tracks still make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Huge musical influence on my life, and beer intake!! timj41, keep up the good work. Still saddens me deeply to think of just how much stuart still had to offer, sadly missed.

timj41 i have got it off PB dowloaded it the other day after i saw this..very erie knowing what happened to Stuart,but i still have memories of the BC concert at the Mayfair in Newcastle,,never for 1 min did i think something like this would happen !! very sad day for me as my dad died on the exact same day a year before.."through summerheat and winter snow the eagle he was lord above and Stuart was lord below"

Thanks for posting this Tim, i was a Big Country fan from the eighties and had all their albums.Stuart was the finest guitarist i've ever seen. Still listening now 24 years later and still loving it. Bought Restless Natives on VHS years ago. My cousins a big fan and in NZ now so if you hear BC booming out of a car it may be him! Thanks again.

hi again,thanks for your message. I am in New Zealand and have never seen them live. Very sorry to hear about your dad. I only got into BC because I followed the Skids since 78 when they started and Stuart always stood out more than any other in my eyes. I actually first heard Restless natives on a b'side of Look away 12" mix and then saw the movie the year after that. I never dreamed that Stuart would depart the way he did. I read somewhere that an upcoming drink drive conviction in the U.S.

I know you uploaded this 11 years ago but can I just thank you for doing so, I've been a big country fan since the age of 8 (I'm 24 now) and I genuinely think this would serve better as our national anthem.

same here, the bass at 1:36 reminds me of New order, haunting intro which seems to brighten up and then become raw and very pogo-able

may have been weighing on him very heavily. Such a great man from all accounts and a huge loss. I recently managed to get Final Fling double DVD in a store here for $10 NZ$ which is very very cheap, I could sell on E/Bay for much more but will never part with this. Quite spooky to think that this was 2000 and he left this life fairly soon after. Fantastic soundtrack, huge loss. keep in touch man, Regards, Tim

wish i could get the rest of this soundtrack as this is only a small part of it.used to have parts 1 and 2 on the b-sides of the 12" singles till they got nicked.its a brilliant soundtrack
