Agreed! I grew up listening to Kane in junior high so I'm from that era also. I think the excessive emphasis on fact checking, at the expense of the quality of the bar, is something I can't get into. Comedians, rappers, singers, actors, etc. all bend the truth a bit (sometimes a lot), but it's supposed to be entertainment at the end of the day. The real issue is what Kendrick really said concerning the industry and painting that picture on Drake for being the face that is being used for promoting the garbage that mainstream rap has become. He exposed not only Drake but the corporations that have infiltrated the Hip Hop culture and many of these rappers are sell outs because that's where they are eating from. You can rap about anything else but once you start touching on deep industry issues you become a threat to the system. That's why Kane is stuttering because he knows Kendrick was speaking sensitive issues about the whole hip hop culture and the beast feeding it and he can't speak much on it because most of these guys are puppets to the entertainment industry.
