I remember my dad telling me about how him, my mum and his mum used to go and see wrestling in the 70s and big daddy was always their favourite, his mother used to sit by the aisle and whack the wrestlers with her handbag or umbrella, her proudest moment may have been when she nearly brained giant haystacks.

@@michaelkeha Ironically it was Big Daddy’s later career in British Wrestling that eventually killed it off for good (though I’d argue he killed it just by existing). Turns out young stars like Dynamite Kid & William Regal didn’t fancy being squashed an out of shape pensioner.

Here's the funny thing if old Big Daddy was to do that in the UK my guy pick any stadium it would have been sold out and you would have heard a crowd thunder and roar in a way that hasn't been heard in over 20 years go watch a big daddy match and listen to the crowd when was the last time you heard any indie darling or big star get a reaction as honest as guys like Big Daddy could get
