Doesn't matter what you got going on in life, absolutely nothing better to clear the mind and feel renewed is to jump on a farm tractor and cut hay or mow a field. So relaxing and great to feel the sun and air. Love you still use the old equipment. Grew up on a Massey 35 and 135 and they still hold a special place in my heart.

Yes it’s a relaxing place to be. The old Massey’s are top notch, not a new tractor out there that can replace them. Thanks for watching

Those sickle mowers do a good job just gotta watch for those clogs.

I’d really like to get one like you use, that would be perfect for the Massey! Thanks for watching

That sickle mower you repaired sounded sweet as it did it's thing. What an upgrade that must have been in the day from the single human version. Love watching the older equipment out there still contending with the youngsters. 😀 Thanks for bringing us along. Keep safe.

That old sickle has mowed hay all over Caney Ridge and Sandy Ridge. Ray use to cut 12,000 square bales a year back in the 70’s and 80’s with that mower. Thanks for watching

Maybe a day or two of sunshine and a little wind will help dry the swampy part enough for you that you won't have any problems when you bale it!
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
I can bale s small part of that low area but most of it stays very soft. Thanks for watching

Good Morning Sir, we can see the moon in the sky at 3:18 in that beautiful farm land of yours Sir 😇👌👍The hay season is OUTSTANDING since we had so much snow and pouring rain, the first cut was done in mid July ( unsual is done in end of Jun ) but because the field were soaked wet and the seeding were late because of that 🥴 Keep up your OUTSTANDING work my friend Cheers 🍻🍻

Hey Ben, that's a big field. That old mower works well. That's all we used for years before we got a haybine on the farm. I thought you were finished doing hay a while back lol. Thanks for sharing
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never used a haybine or even been around one much. Most everything here is sickles and disc mowers. Thanks for watching

Maybe the fertilizer is paying off - can you skip a year or do you have to put fertilizer down every year? - Enjoy the journey - cheers
@khtractors2 жыл бұрын
Skipping or fertilizing is all up to the farmer. It’s never good to skip many years. Although I do have a few small places where I’ve never fertilized but it shows. Thanks for watching
