Very fun one! On a side note, I wanted to mention that, besides the information you impart and your skills in Brotato, I am always pleased with your verbose nature and articulation whilst narrating. It is refreshing this day and age. I will continue to watch and support the channel even though I have not actually played in a few weeks ❤

That was a neat run - definitely a run that someone who wasn't you (or who has an artifact named after them) would survive, even with your amazing luck here. I've always wanted someone to try and remake Demon into a more Dragon-like character that merely converts Max HP to money at the end of each wave (at some balanced exchange rate) and then converts remaining money back to Max HP at the same rate. This would create a money-hording character who could use things like coupons and spend the same currency for items and re-rolls, but would keep Piggy Bank from being useful - which makes sense for a Dragon that hordes gold rather than depositing it in an interest-bearing account.

I don't usually comment multiple times but the way the HP cost for items is calculated is actually very simple, Its the same 13 materials = 1hp as demons other effect. Rounded down as are most things, hence why some more expensive things cost 2 HP wave 1

Yeah - the rounding on the hp cost can be a little wonky though with the discount. But basically if the item has a material cost of 260 or higher, you save an hp by having coupon - since that's few items until the lategame, coupon is a lot less valuable for demon (though still worth it usually I think)

I think this round is harder because of gmo itself. The higher item price plus the weird interaction with chunky hurts demon the most. Also, I still think the triangle is an anti fun item. It simply close up so many gates in future item picks.

Yeah - and in particular the increased enemy speed for the chunky is very dangerous, it's even more of a problem when you can't boost your own speed to compensate

I agree triangle is anti-fun, as are all the stand still mechanics (barricade, etc). I don't understand why they would think that playstyle would be fun, it's boring AF to me. Oh, and great run Cephalopocalypse! Gonna try it myself now.

Statue is a fine pick here since there's no downside, but there's not much upside either - standing still is hard to manage!

lol you always take those items (or in this case weapon) that does damage to you per second with the triangle of power 😂. Are you sabotaging yourself sir? You know though wisdom might synergize well in a situation like that could sorta balance out the damage lost. I'm always trying to make that trash item useful EDIT: I didn't realize sythe gives you plus damage when you take damage I'm a goober.
