Staff of Arcane Blessing, you're showing the percentages but that doesn't mean much - what you should do to demonstrate is make attacks and show the Combat Logs - which will see how many d4s are being rolled.

This nerd literally doesn't even pick his first spell on the tear until after 9 Minutes in. Saying that he is long-winded would be an extreme understatement. Some people just really like to hear the sound of their own voice lol

Agree about bumping up concentrated blast, there are plenty of times I want to stop concentrating on fog cloud or spike growth and a little extra damage on top of what I was going to do anyway can feel nice

I accidentally killed the elder brain with orpheus using the absorb intellect bug on honor mode lol. I was just trying to get some healing while my party got through the portal, and it had a super low sucess chance of like 10. I cast it since I has too low to take a brainquake, and next turn out of nowhere the 400 hp elder brain just died. Super funny.

Would you ever consider doing Divinity Original Sin 2 builds or tier lists? It's also from Larian and doesn't have a good guide yet. I love your approach to builds and tactics in games and would be interested in your thoughts on the game.

Hi hi, love the video, but there is one thing you can do that is fantastic for summons that I never see mentioned in any video or summon guide. I never see anyone ever mention the mind flayer power - Shield of Thralls. You can use this on one of your minions to give it 10 temp hitpoints, that when expire explodes in a 9m/30 foot radius for a DC 15 int save or be stunned for 1 turn. While stunned, they automatically fail all STR and DEX checks, and recharges on short rest. Just an AoE stun is fantastic for this playstyle and you might be surprised how many things in the game don't have a good INT score.

I was with you until you talked about the arrow of elemental slaying. The only elemental fight this is worth using in Act 1 is the lava elemental which isn't even hostile so you can ignore it entirely. There are way more dangerous elementals in Act 2 and Act 3, including myrmidons, djinni, and hellish enemies. What act 1 enemies are you talking about where it'd be useful to use those arrows aside from the lava elemental? Mephits? Those die in like 1 or 2 hits with normal attacks, definitely not worth needing to use those arrows on.

On mic feedback... Whatever happened between freecast and absorb intellect improved the sound in my opinion. It was more pronounced on headphones then when I moved to test on speakers, but an improvement in both cases

i have never had the option for psionic dominance pop up with a spell beyond its ability to counter, on spells that popped up counterspell as an option

When Z’rell used black hole against me in Moonrise I was so confused and intrigued, “wow that ability is broken dang!” And then I learned it’s a possible illithid power, and I took it as soon as I could. People sleep on it because so many people are focused on damage numbers. But as a Druid, I understood the value of area control, and it’s just insane how strong the spell is. It’s insanely flexible EVEN as an action, and as a bonus action it’s just easy mode in any fight where you can move the enemies at all.

In the multiclassing part you mentioned your sorcadin guide, but I couldn't find any. Can you point to it specifically?

This seemed like a run where you were just off a bit. Even if that was the case, you still managed to pull it off. Pretty impressive really. It's not a combo and weapon choice I would want to try.

One side note with Hunter's Marks is that the tooltip is misleading. The damage type always matches whatever damage your weapon attack did.

That seemed like a tough run tbh, harder than I would've thought as I generally think of knight as just generally quite strong. A fairy and hunting trophy would've gone hard, but Luck be a fickle mistress! I'm curious how well a mixture of thief daggers and pitchforks would work overall.

I’ve played twice as a monoclass rogue, one of them in honor mode, however (for roleplay reasons) I didn’t use ranged weapons, only one knife, with my bonus action (Assassin subclass, so only one bonus action) I used to coat my weapon, desingage etc, If you’re interested in a Knife guy, get the Mobile feat as soon as possible and you’ll be good to go Both of them I played as a Deep Gnome, they’re the only race that can have 24 Dex along with other benefits, don’t worry so much about movement, with the mobile feat you’ll have increased move speed and there’s also a ring in the early game that gives you increased move speed

I've done one run with pitchfork and yeah, not doing that again as it's pretty bad. While generally a very good/essential item, I'm not sure the Gentle Alien picks were doing you any favors here. Great run though!

Freecast I’d put in S+ currently. If you remove an item of clothing it refreshes it and removing clothes costs nothing so 3 lv 6 spells per combat for free. Just put your clothes back on after and repeat. Hopefully this goes unnoticed…

Have you tried playing with a controller? I think its easier to dodge and weave with the analogue stick

🔥🔥🔥 also I know you record these in advance so it'll be a while before we can dial anything in, if you let us know what the old mic was and what the new mic is that could help! Also as far as EQ goes, you're definitely sounding a lot thinner. Shifting that EQ curve to the left could help but I have a hunch it's distance-from-the-mic related as well. Edit: but its definitely a big improvement over the elite ilithids video! And its a lot clearer than your old setup too. Once you get it dialed it'll be an even better step up. Depending on which DAW you use, they might have some cool presets you can cycle between! I use logic pro and it does most of the hard work for me ((Edit #2: sounds like you fixed this one in post in response to the elite illithid video issues, the thinness might be the only way to get rid of the boom and echo without re-recording so that tracks)) (((Final edit: if you have more to fix in post depending on your DAW, that annoying reverb from last video might be a very specific frequency or set of frequencies that you can hunt down and squash without affecting your voice too much! Okay really done for today sorry)))

Cull the weak sounds so cool. The only problem is that it's incompatible with the Unduying Hunger passive of the modded Dark Hunger Warlock pact (it's a flavourful version of GOO with some cool active abilities and spells). I was sceptical about the Illithid powers at first, but the allure of power was too strong to ignore. I got Expertise in Intimidation already, because Durge, but the other two sound very good, as well.

As someone who is new to BG3 and the DnD system all together, this is somewhat helpful. The reason I say somewhat instead of just helpful is because the gear sections seems very short and lackluster compared to the leveling sections. I was hoping you'd go into what gear to use per acts instead of just saying use whatever you want. It would be very helpful to someone new if we could get recommendations for gear per act rather than just saying try and look for gear with these general things in them.
