I'm probably way out to lunch on this. It's probably just a false impression due to familiarity. Still I swear that Seattle stops more runners at third on singles than anyone. I got very concerned and frustrated (I was following on MLB gameday not watching) when Crawford stopped at third last night on Julio's one out single. Again it's probably just a matter of familiarity breeding contempt but I was briefly frustrated and certain he'd end up stranded there. That was the most centered fastball I've ever seen in an obvious fastball count. Cal is deadly in that situation. If he's sitting fastball it better be up and/or out of the middle.
