She was very repectful and nice throughout the whole relationship with Ed despite their differences in culture etc. She became a model because she is pretty and was shown on TV. Ken, I ask that you watch Liz and Ed’s story again and see how with each breakup she has lost more of herself and relinquished more control of her life to Ed. That really is what happens. Abusers will often target ppl who have been in past abusive relationships because their low self-esteem from previous relationships is still there. They will be all loving at first but test the waters with little acts. The more they get away with the worse those behaviours become. Then the victim becomes even more broken. When the abuser throws them away (willingly or unwillingly) for the final time then if the victim hasn’t sufficiently healed before the next abuser comes along then they fall under the next one’s thumb and the pattern continues often getting worse. When your self-esteem is that low you start to believe that you deserve the abuse cause you can’t be the perfect partner for the abuser.

On an actual note, despite their relationship probably being scripted, I can definitely say that her staying despite it not making sense is a real thing oeople go through. It’s hard to put into words, but from personal experience, leaving someone who has convinced you that they are the only one in the world to love you, isolated you away from family and friends, is incredibly hard. They could quite literally spit in your face and accuse you of the most heinous thing and your brain still tells you that you love them and they love you - it’s almost as if you feel like something terrible is going to happen if you break up. It’s like the world is gonna end if this person is no longer in your life, even if they’ve been the worst human being. It’s definitely deeply psychological and incredibly unexplainable but that’s the best way I can put it into words!

For those who don't know semi colon tattoos represent when someone has put them selves through self harm in some form or another and they usually get the tattoo when they're ready to put that behind them. We've learnt little pieces of Liz's past but honestly as someone who's in line to get their semi colon tattoo I feel like just that alone has made me understand her a lot more. The only thing I get is separate bedroom. Like my mom and dad have separate bedrooms. My mom has a tendency to make big movements suddenly in her sleep which leads to a smack and then my dad snores a lot so my mom was like “look I want my own bedroom” at first my dad was uncertain. My mom came back to my dad saying how she kinda felt bad and if my dad wanted to share a bedroom again they could and he went “hell no I love my own bedroom” and my mom was relieved cause she loved having her own bedroom. That happened years ago and they both have loved it and get great sleep when having their own restroom

This is total dejavu for me! My ex last year kicked me out, gave me less than 12hrs to leave the home after HE CHEATED ON ME! Then he and his friend packed up all my stuff. I had to come get it weeks later because the days I had available he didn't, and we had to go by his schedule. Such a toxic piece of crap. I can't stand Ed, but I'm so addicted to this stuff. I actually don’t think this is fake. If it was real, Ed would make sure that he looks like the good guy. Look what he did to his dog Teddy. The last few weeks of his life were heartbreaking. Ed takes Teddy, who is sick, to travel to Mexico to meet some random girl. Ed never took his dog to the vet. Instead let Teddy suffer at home. And in his last moments, Ed fell asleep and woke up to Teddy dead. I cried just by going off what Ed said that happened. I bet it was much worse too. I don’t know why no one’s talking about this.

Ed supposedly loved his dog Teddy yet he let him suffer for some bs Mexico trip, and couldn’t even stay awake when he died. Why didn’t he take Teddy to the vet?? To make him suffer like that. I have two dogs, my morkie looks just like Teddy and I have a yorkie. I cant imagine letting them suffer. I love my dogs so much. They are my shadows. I’d do anything for them. And to hear that Ed let Teddy suffer until he died was just so heartbreaking.
