This. Ed has all the insecurities, emotional issues and misogyny that men who feel lesser for whatever reason display towards women when they aren't willing to dig and do the work to accept and or/understand themselves and others as people. This is combined with him no longer being young and afraid of aging while desperately clinging to youth and a developed narcissism that has only been fed by being on television; I also see a lot of unhealthy defense mechanisms that likely result from him being a man with a disability and height problem. And this will sound mean but just by age and attitude alone he makes me think that he's starting to fall into that age category of men who have trouble getting it up but they still want to obsess about getting laid. Did I mention he also carries the mindframe of a person who has a weight problem and won't do anything about it but also will accuse you of being a monster if you notice? Ed is really the perfect storm. He's everything that women hate individually in men, rolled up into one person.

That was so much like the first man I was in a relationship with. Things were fine when we first got together, or so I thought. Then, he keeps me from seeing my friends, shows up to my house uninvited whenever he feels like it, blows up my landline and cellphone nonstop, would get jealous whenever I went to work or school and had no problem going out to see his friends or family whenever he wanted to but if I did, he'd go on a tirade about it. He also ganged up on me with his mother and made me feel like crap. One day, I just had enough and couldn't take it anymore. I dumped his ass and he did nothing but blow up my phone all night. I remember almost two years after I left him, my best friend texted me and told me that this woman we both knew was dating him and I was like, what in the actual fuck is wrong with her? I tried to warn this woman and she was a complete bitch to me about it. Then I came to find out she got pregnant by that creep, had to get an abortion because the fetus wasn't developing properly due to the both of them being on anti-seizure medication, plus he beat the crap out of her, broke her nose and got her into a car accident. She had to get a restraining order against him and the day before the hearing, she told me that he was messaging her begging her to call it off and take him back. I got out before it was too late and the other woman left with injuries and scars that'll hurt her for a long time. No abuser is worth putting up with for love.
