Jordan the boys might give you a hard time but I think understand your situation to and your still like family to them still to. if you are worried next time go to harbor freight and pick up one of there plastic cases they are a universal plastic case and you can cut the foam inside for it to fit and store it securely.

You really shouldn't leave the valve covers off for an hour (?) when you a.) have a dirt floor workspace b.) are just trying to figure out how to turn the engine over (it's not hard, you shouldn't have to remove the fan) c.) make several attempts to install the distributor. It doesn't take $$$ to be organized. No space for a borrowed carb? The entire deck of the car was clean and completely empty. Seemed like the HTF crew were carrying you and this video pretty much confirms it.

jesus christ someone pissed in your cornflakes today didn't they? Also PS removing value covers tend to be done when A) setting lash on the values or B) replacing valve springs. Now idk about you but it doesn't take a very smart guy to see that its a paved driveway he is on its just dirty. Also idk about you but ive seen some very top level guys struggle installing a distributor bc there is a very specific way it has to go in to sit correctly for the motor to be in a range for timing. Also other then a few spare parts here or there and tools and sometimes a shop to work out of HTF wasnt carrying him. I mean he bought the car and for the most part done 90% of the work on it AFTER finishing he daily stuff for HTF like idk stuff they didn't know how to do. One last quick thing, since you said how you feel about this my only remaining question is to you is how many racecars have to Built/Worked on bc its very apparent that so far Jordy here has a lot better of a record and im 100% sure he knows what he is doing compaired to you.

From what HTF said. He was offered a job that was to good to say no and stepped away. But they also said that Jordan would be still coming around and helping when he could but just not on a full time job style. I still believe they are close friends just i think life took Jordan away from that to a better paying closer to home job.

No they did not, still help me out. Knowledge from Joseph, borrowing engine cranes and engine stands, welcome to use shop when it's empty. Can't thank them enough for all they do. Just busy work schedule RN wish I could do more for them.
