@Intonohave you tried having a decent personality and being someone people want to be around? I find that usually helps finding a partner.
@mxnsab8461 Жыл бұрын
@Intono oh I am sorry. I thought the implication that David wasn't attractive enough for her was caused by a bitter self hatred for being for not as attractive as you wish you were and that being the reason your single. Maybe next time keep an open mind on why someone may be dating someone else and not assume that attractiveness is even the first thing most are looking for.

This is one of the best I've seen of the 'Big Fat...' shows. Thank you for posting. The 1980's was the last decade I owned a TV, and I knew more than anyone on the panel, apart from Sarah Greene and Phil Jupitus.

Few things to take from the 80s. Life was very very brown. Everyone smoked everywhere. The music was awesome. Everyone thought the end was nigh due to the Cold War

I'm guessing that David Mitchell had heard of T'pau from Star Trek rather than from pop music.😊

If that was the case, he wouldn't know the answer because the question wasn't about Star Trek.

The show has the Michael Jordan question wrong. He was find because the main color of the shoes was black the rules in the NBA at that time said they had to be white. Team shoes wasn't a thing in the NBA. Then the picture you show is the legal version of the shoe.

Was Sarah serious with that stress out about semantics at 57:30? I think she was and its completely shone her in a new new light now which is a shame as I used to love her. There was absolute spite and a raging arrogance to that response to Jimmy…Jimmy, doing his job
@as3609 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Honestly have no clue who she is, but I was enjoying her in this for about the first half. After that she seemed irritable and malicious, and not fun to watch.
@EleanorPeterson Жыл бұрын
@@as3609- Sarah was a hugely popular and successful children's TV presenter with a super-clean image - sort of half Julie Andrews and half Doris Day without all of their boozing, swearing and drug taking [joke]. Every dad loved her; every schoolboy adored her brains out every night because there was no 'internet' back then (hem, hem). I'm pretty sure she was being serious. Never meet your idols, guys. Feet of clay, and all that. Maybe she resented being the only woman on the panel and was looking for a fight in an attempt to lose her professional 'nice but dim wanking-fodder' image. The programme editor obviously thought the prickly moment was worth leaving in. Maybe she insisted on it. I dunno. Whatever. She's just another woman with a chip on her shoulder. There are lots of them about... (I'm not one, though, no, no, no. I'm far too gorgeous - if you don't mind tripping over a floor-length bosom.) Sarah picked the wrong man to lock horns with in Jimmy, though! 😁
@ColinTedford Жыл бұрын
That was strange but I'd hardly judge her whole character by it. Maybe something happened in between the bits that made it to air, maybe she had something unrelated going on in her private life and the semantics thing just randomly touched her off, or maybe she just had a weird spot of stress.

Michelle wolf or Kristen Schaal? Kristen was in gravity falls, Bob's burgers, a few episodes of adventure time, and she was in flight of the Conchords as they mentioned in the show although I haven't seen that one. She may not be well known in the UK but she is a hoot, fwiw. And she head pretty good comedic chemistry with Dara O'Briain who put up with the handicap of an American team partner with good grace.
