I've seen Mel B on Drag Race since watching this and she's a completely different person. She's been through so much and as someone who's been depressed and in abusive relationships it's really hard to feel light and make jokes when you're going through stuff like that. She mentions X Factor here too, which also means she was also struggling with cocaine addiction on top of everything else. It's remarkable she's on the show at all.

It's important to realise that Mel B wasn't herself during this, she was severely depressed and suicidal. This was filmed a week or so before her 2014 suicidal attempt. She was being abused by her ex husband in every way, she had just found out her dad was terminally ill and she relying on drink and drugs to cope. She tried to cancel this but it was too late, so she ended up having to do it. I really don't think this should be allowed to be uploaded anywhere online. I doubt she wants to see any reminders of the dark place she was at back then
