Tried the Big Fig Mattress recently. Both husband and I are large people (350 and 390 lbs) and side sleepers. Unfortunately the big fig caused too much pressure on hips and shoulders. If you are strictly a back sleeper, it would be good. After a month sleeping on the mattress we were waking up in so much pain it was difficult to get out of bed. On a positive note, the return process/customer service was truly awesome.

The Saatva HD might be for you guys. I am actually returning mine because the top layer feels a bit too soft. I have not tried the Big Fig. I also recommend the Winkbed plus. The best I have tried so far and not too firm.

My biggest issue is the price tag.... The Saatva HD is $3044 delivered and the Big Fig is only $1710... This is the final prices on Presidents day so best deal all around. I love the Saatva but not at $1300+ more...

The problem I have his my husband is heavier and has back issues. I am smaller and do have back issues with Fibromyalgaia. What matters would fit us?

Between the two, I would definitely choose the Saatva HD. It will be a better fit for you both. I would also check out our Best Mattresses For Back Pain video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKHIYYCErseciac

Do you guys do any videos on the best bed frames for heavy people? I'm thinking of getting a saatva since I love the plush pillow top mattresses and I'm a 370 pound person, but I'm unsure what type of frame to get

If I'm looking to get a mattress, but my partner and I are under the 300 pound range (but close), would you recommend the Saatva HD, or the Luxry Firm Saatva?
@Mattressclarity5 жыл бұрын
Hello! Can I ask what position you and your partner sleep in?
@driedblood5 жыл бұрын
@@Mattressclarity Sure! I'm primarily a back sleeper while my GF is a side sleeper.

Or is there a different bed all together we should look at? She hates my foam mattress and loves more traditional coil. So I was looking for a hybrid.

@@driedblood Have you heard of the Helix mattresses? They will actually customize each side of the mattress so you and your partner get the style you like. It will be a hybrid no matter what, and they also offer the Helix Nightfall, made to support heavier weights. I also like the WinkBeds Plus. It is a hybrid with more a pillow top feel. Do you still want some of that memory foam feel?
@driedblood5 жыл бұрын
@@Mattressclarity No I haven't. Basically, my GF hates my bed right now "It's like sleeping on concrete." while for me, I just crave good support, especially for back pain. I don't like the 'sinking-in' feeling', but I know there has to be a level of comfort associated with it. Her initial requirement for looking at beds were 'What do you have that's the softest?' So trying to find a good middle-ground-Hence why I was looking at the Saatva. But I'll look at the Helix as well.
