Hey man I’m 14 and live and Tennessee got my first real job in February and bought a 50cc dirt bike for 300$ fixed it and sold it for 600$ then I got a 2 seater go kart that I had and fixed it up and sold it for 1000$ and worked my a$$ off at sonic saving every dollar that I earned and now I have enough to go buy my first truck this week at 14 and restore it I’m looking at a 1982 dodge d150 and I’m going to pay for it in cash that’s all mine I’m not gonna borrow a dime from anyone and just wanted to share this with you because you have inspired me to save up everything and go out and buy my first truck

Most of the time I hate the ad breaks, but the first one in this video was perfectly timed! Right after Rob said "that's your wiring harness, you need to order a new one" it cut to the ad! A damn 15 second cliffhanger!

There's a guy I used to work for years ago, even though we aren't around each other we're still good friends to this day. Back then other new employees, customers etc.. would comment about us being brothers.... we aren't. Their basic idea was nobody would argue with each other the way we would, then turn on a dime and go back to work, eat lunch together, help a stranger etcetc... Part of having friends like that is being friends like that. Number of likes, views or retweets need not apply, you gotta be there. Thanks for sharing

Back in the 80s all you needed was to be muscle bound or have a big friend. These days too many people know how to fight. You get your muscle covered friend ripped apart by a little harmless looking guy trained in this or that. Times have changed.

So many one liners! Face hurts from laughing! Had the same friend back in the day. Called him Block. Couldn’t move at all. Always teasing him, well one day he had enough and snuck up behind me and gave me a big ol squeeze. When I came too he was laughing and asked if I had enough. Never knew a human could be that strong. Thanks for the story Rab! Funny shit

That wiring harness story reminds me of a story on the job. I'm an electrician, I was running a job in Seattle and one of my apprentices didn't want to re-rout a run to get more than an inch and a half of wore into the box (codenis minimum of six) he said he would just pigtail it. I told him to redo it. He said no... I cut the wire off at the connector (MC for those curious) and told him "now you have to fix it". He did

People crack me up with automotive wiring. They’d rather put the money in the paint or interior and so on, and all that is great, but it don’t add up to shit when your pretty project burns to the ground over some busted ass wiring.

Hey Rob. First of all, let me just say I'm a huge fan of your stories and passion for cars! I especially love hearing those stories come out of that sweet radio voice of yours. I've been watching your videos for the past two years now and am absolutely enamored with them. You really have a way of words and can tell a story with true heart. Someday at the right moment, I'll be able to meet you. I live Florida and it's been a tradition for my dad and I to attend the Turkey Rod Run Car Show since 2005. I've heard in one of your stories mentioning going to that show regularly and of course, I've seen your story about purchasing the black Chevrolet Corvair Convertible from there. What I'd like to know is, what day do you go to the show? For me, we always go on the Saturday. If that's also your day, it would be a true honor to meet you.

Rob, that's one thing you and I have in common, is I'm the most in my zone when I'm wiring something up. I take my time, and make damn sure it looks like it's supposed to be there. There's an understanding in my shop, that when y'all see my multimeter out, and my wiring kit there beside me, don't fuck with me til I'm done. There's just something about it that calms me down. I work on tractors for a living, which I know is a different can of worms altogether, but I've YET to have a customer see one of my wiring jobs and bitch about it. Now, they bitch when they first see the bill, but then when they see the end result, they're happy again. Biggest thing now is everybody wants a damn LED light bar and or LED pods on their tractor. And I've seen some real hacked up shit, and without remorse ripped it the hell out of there and start over fresh. Kinda hate it, but I love it at the same time.
