Scott has good taste. I dig the foggy look as well. I like how some of the lower edges are just hinting through.

If you’ve visited the redwoods, it’s like the mist in those hills, hugging the trees themselves. These goliath trees are just hinted at through the fog until you’re right up to them.

Scott has an eye for coordinating epoxy and wood color. I didn't see how the milky white would work with the red, but this is gorgeous. And the darkness from the live edge gives it incredible depth. This build truly belongs mounted on a wall. Great job guys 👍

Oh, wow! This is the prettiest table that you've done. The white-ish epoxy makes it look like clouds floating amongst the timber. On a separate note, my father and I built a 6 foot round table from Aspen and epoxy back in the 80's. We got bubbles under the epoxy coat and you completely explained why this happened. Dad passed on a while ago, but I finally have an answer on why that happened. Thank you! It's a beautiful piece and I may now forgive the mammoth tusk. LOL!

Cam, I literally just figured out how to get those exact same sanding blocks to fit my festool extractor yesterday. I slipped some clear poly hose(7/8” ID), shrunk it down with the heat gun just a bit, and then gave it two full length wraps with electrical tape, covering the port on the block as well. Works like a champ, takes up no extra length like an adapter would, and it costs almost nothing.

I may have said this before, but I really really mean it this time. You've made some cool stuff before, but dude, this is the one. This is by far the coolest. The grain of the wood and the white epoxy makes it look like an aerial view of a rugged, mountainous rain forest (I'm colorblind, don't judge) with thick fog settling in the valleys. It's a cool effect to see the vague dark shapes of the slopes as they disappear down into the mist. The islands on the edge were a stroke of genius. That makes it look like the terrain we are viewing is on Pandora. This thing was the most perfect table ever.

Excellent video. I always learn something new. Regarding the spray you use to release the project from the mold, Us an air cleaner and set up fans blowing the chemical out the door. You more than likely don't want your vehicle parked down wind. I use something like this and even though my shop is in no way the size of your shop, it works wonderfully. I know a table like this would be hard to move around. Since you sold it to be used as wall art instead of a table, Maybe you could cut and separate the table right down the middle. When you get it inside, you can slide it back together. If the piece is long enough, make a leaf for the middle of the table. That way a client can decide on keeping the table small or big for a large number of people. Just a thought.

So finally subscribed. Been watching your videos on recommended for like a year. Now I won't miss any. Currently going to be diving into the blacklog of content. So cheers, revenue. I know you read the comments, so let me give a non-chastising suggestion. It's pretty obvious looking at the shape of the wood why you chose them in a lot of these projects. Because they would make a kickass pattern along with the epoxy. While really awesome, I'm been watching creators mix epoxy with wood on youtube for a decade now. It's gotten predictable and the outcome is the same. I would suggest finding a substitute for epoxy to fill the cool pasterns. Preferably a different wood or cut metal. Would it be way more difficult? Yes. Would it be way cooler? Yes. I believe in you.
