Happy 60th birthday to James Worthy! One of the GOATs. A fabulous Tar Heel and Laker!
@FlyingV3rd9 ай бұрын
Yes, and Michael Jordan was the best Tar Heel, too. Along with being the best Chicago Bulls player.

James Worthy is a class-act. I had the opportunity to meet him and chat with him for 30 minutes in a break room at the grand opening of the new Commissary at Ft. Bragg, where he was to appear to sign autographs. I never ask people for autographs and treat people like anybody else. After 30 minutes of chatting, and him saying my Blazers would never win the big one, when they finally came to get him, he told me "Thank you for your service and nice chatting with you." Very impressed by his demeanor. He is just a regular guy. Totally underrated in my opinion.
@joshuagavile47753 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I never ask well-known figures for autographs either. Instead, I prefer taking pictures with them, and most of whom are ones I really fancy. I like to think of them more as friends than “celebrities,” which is why pictures appeal more to me than autographs. I’m with you on that.

One of the best SF of the history of this game. Smart, skilled, and a real killer. I'm sure that a younger Worthy can still be one of the best in today's league.

One of THE most under-rated players. His 1st step was faster than ANY other forward...ever. Even faster than most guards. It always shocks you , when he does that spin move. I love this guy ^ ^

His road to being a Champion started with the simple desire to help his parents. It does not get much more genuine than that.

This team wasn't Magics team or Jabars team or anyone else for that matter. It's was LA's team and we all knew it from the second they stepped on to the court. Bring it back to it's former glory and bring an end to "the one guy" ego team crap that has plegged the team for a few years now. Lakers 4 ever ❤
