Great video Kris. Regarding the Colocasia Pink China, do they do best in wetter conditions? I've read about keeping potted ones in a saucer of water. Cheers

Hi Kris. Any idea where one could get a borinda? You mentioned your open day but I am in Kent so too far to visit. They are lovely bamboos but seem very tricky to get hold of Good luck with that flowering oreophilus !!! Fingers crossed for a female

I think there's another private seller but again, based up north. I don't know any nurseries with them in stock unfortunately

Great video kris. And love the borinda. I struggled finding a borinda but did get a fargesia blue dragon how different are they? Also ive noticed lots of plant nurseries still selling gunnera manicata online,how is this if they are on the banned list? Having tried many of times to grow gunnera from seed using many methods with little success i struggle to see how they are invasive and think that maybe the ones they have found growing aaay from people's gardens are from gardeners who didnt realise how big they actually got and decided to plsnt them out in the wild.

It'll take a while before places stop selling Gunnera but I haven't seen any for sale in garden centres this year so I think they're getting phased out. Fargesia blue dragon is a lovely bamboo but not as imposing as Borinda 1046

Hello kris from Norfolk ,last year i finally got gunnera manicata /cryptica ,so far it has put out more flower seeds than leaves.would cutting of seeds help produce bigger leaves,also would it be ok to move now .great videos as always cheers dave

Yes cutting all the flowers off will give more energy to the plant to produce bigger leaves

Strangely, my Trachycarpus fortunei first flowered about 4 years ago but they’ve always aborted at an early stage and come to nothing. This year it hasn’t bothered flowering at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Kris, garden looking lovely. Quick question what's your take on B&M palms, so much discussion on them being not good quality but I personally feel it's given opportunity for people to get large palms at a low budget, r they worth it or not
