It would be dumb to trade the farm for Crochet & Luis Roberts. The Dodgers are riddled with injuries , so why trade the farm for 2 injury prone players? Crochet is limited for the rest of the year, so how much is he going to help you this year? I'd rather trade for Kukuchi and Flaherty.

It isnt usually high velo pitches that lead to UCL damage (though it can, of course). Pitch types are a big factor, this is why most little league coaches dont advise their kids to throw curves, sliders or splits. if youve watched Crochet this year, the Sox have lessened the number of breaking pitches and moved Crochet to mostly fastballs to preserve his arm

If Skubal is a no go and Crochet is the guy then Robert needs to be in package. They will then need another pitcher like Kukuchi. Muncy isn’t going to return at MAX performance, Need Paredes as well. Outfield would be Teo in left Robert in Center and Pages/ Heywood platooned in right.

In addition to trading for pitching, trade for Trout and let him play RF to lessen the wear on his body. He won't cost much in terms of return talent/prospects due to his high salary and trouble staying healthy. Head into the playoffs with this lineup: DH - Ohtani 2B - Betts RF - Trout 1B - Freeman LF - Teoscar C - Smith 3B - Muncy CF - Pages SS - Rojas

The Dodgers do not need to make a trade. Crochet is done in a few innings. If Glasnow is at his high in innings pitched in a year, than Crochet has blown by his. Get just 4 or 5 of the 20 guys on the IL back, and they are better than anyone you could trade for. Besides, anyone who the Dodgers trade for will just get hurt anyhow. Ride the young ones!

I don't think they should trade for Crochet. They got arms coming back soon. Crochet would't even be effective this year and they don't need him next year.
