I agree with Gipp the streets and the music must be completely separated from each other. Its to a point where the street stuff need to be eradicated from the art form altogether because people cant separate the two. Honestly the street element in music is whats watering the art form down the most and making it boring. Most these major platforms will ask rappers 99.9% stuff about the streets and maybe 1% about the actual music and what influenced their craft. Its sickening and this happens time and time again. An artist past doesnt define his music ability his creativity and his originality does!
