I've had all my gpus on xelis, very steady around 4.5MH Yield and profit have been less than great, but this fork sounds great! I started scooping up used rtx 3090, should be over 7MH pretty soon! I wonder how cpus will be on xelis after the fork? Any idea on that seb? I have 350KH on randomx I could move over...

Honestly I haven't looked into CPU mining Xelis at all. I'm assuming efficiency wouldn't be as good but maybe worth looking into?

idk mining seem so bad right now seem way more worth to just invest into the s&p500 that gives 10% return a year, maybe its due to me being new but it just seems to take too long to pay of your gpus

At this moment GPU mining isn’t very profitable, so only good if you want to stack coins that you think will go up a lot in value. Right now ASIC mining is a lot more profitable than GPU mining, I have a good amount of videos about ASIC mining on my channel also in case you’re interested 👍 Hope this helps

Two observations, firstly by the very fact that the winners had similar account addresses could suggest that they were FGPA miners, which adds to the reasoning behind the fork, secondly, you stated Xelis wanted someone independent to draw the winners and then you went on to show your mining outcomes recently so that means you were in the draw.

Good points. I explain in the video that the similar addresses are in fact exchange addresses, so it’s different people who are mining directly to their sub wallet on an exchange. Could still be a sign of FPGAs, I don’t know if they are more likely to mine directly to an exchange than GPU miners. Regarding me being in the draw, you are right, since I’ve been mining on the pool I do meet the criteria and I guess I actually did have entries in the list, which I didn’t realize until just now when you said it, but I didn’t win thankfully. Normally when I’ve helped HeroMiners do giveaways like this before I actually remove my wallet address from the list of entries, but I was so focused on not touching the list before picking the winners that I forgot this time. However, I hope that by me showing the full process of me picking the winners without any edits in the video, plus giving access to the spreadsheet where you can look at the editing history of the document to see that there’s nothing happening other than all entries being added and me randomly picking the winners, you can agree it was done in a completely fair way. Also just a quick note, the giveaway was done by HeroMiners, not Xelis. Please let me know if you have any other questions about the giveaway, but just know my involvement was very minimal, I was just handed the list of entries and asked to randomly pick 35 different winners.

Xelis hard fork is shit, I get less coins now. I've gone from 0.45 to 0.35 a day. how this folk is supposed to help out GPU miners is beyond me.
