Try adding Luxior, Giada’s Gift to Kathril. Grants +1/+1 for each counter on equipped creature so it counts the lifelink, deathrouch, first strike counters AND the +1/+1 counters. Kathril can get real big, real fast!

I had a Kathril deck, and had some fun with it for a bit. Unfortunately, just due to how it's designed, it got very samey very quickly, and I became bored with it.

I find that if you go all in on the self mill/grave tutors, this can be true. However,if you ignore all that and just go for keyword aggro, Kathrill becomes a great backup plan that makes people afraid to boardwipe.

I have a Kathril deck. It was the first precon i bought and upgraded after seeing an episode on gameknights. Until this day i love this deck, it's heavily upgraded now and forced my pod to increase the number of instantspeed removal and graveyard hate. ^^

Yes!!! Kathril is the commander that officially got me into playing and has been a pet deck ever since! I constantly say I’m shocked I have not seen more Kathril in the wild as I’ve never seen one across from me.

Your Kathril deck is super cool! Not much else to say, but I love it. The Alrund deck is a unique voltron option for blue which I love. No one seemed to have a particular power advantage over anyone else which I love to see. Great video!

Agree. Run a swiftfoot boots, lightning greaves, maybe a concordant crossroads. All low mana cost and give extra function. Bet you haste counters weren't added for 'balance'. But for a 6 cost commander, I have to agree it should have been added.

I think not including haste was actually pretty balanced. I had a Kathril deck and it went something like 8/10 in my very competitive playgroup. Having said that, the one thing I’d say about Muddstah’s build is he does NEED more haste. It needs to have haste every time you cast it. Too much wasted value if you don’t.

Plaguebearer of Nurgles should trigger Be'lakor's second ability since they're demons. The 3 damage probably wouldn't have done anything, but it can end up making a difference with panharmonicon
