I just discovered Aventus and all the clones a year ago and blind bought PV Emperor Maximus Extrait as my first foray into the pineapple and thankfully loved it. I think depending on your age and also where you go in your life it may be played out or completely unheard of. I'm 34, married with three kids, and I don't know one single person that's ever heard or smelled it until I wore a couple clones and they (and all their wives) loved it. Even some younger guys that I work with that are 21-25 have never heard of or smelled it. It's popular no doubt but not EVERYWHERE as one might think.

Currently I own Mancera Cedrat Boise, CDNIM EDT and EDP, and Insurrection Pure II. Also, if you haven't tried Armaf The Pride, Milestone and Sillage I highly recommend those!

I own a Hercules (Maison Alhambra). And it's pretty close to a Herod and the longevity is solid! 😊 And to me Not only Intense is not really a aventus clone... its something between Imperium/Aventus/Hacivat/CDNIM/(Safran of baccarat rouge/not the oversweetness!) There is no pineapple vibe and the smokyness in it is to safrony and it smells like a ashtray... I mean there is a too big oriental twist... Maybe it's strong but to me It's far away from a Aventus. NO Pineapple ... Safron, Lavender,oak moss?? In a Aventus clone ? sorry.. but not to me...

I've got Bois Luxura from Armaf and it's oily as f.If I want to use it I have to run hot water over sprayer/nozzle to make it work.It's weird,like slightly off,very close to skin.Removed the wooden box from it-it was all wacked.

Armaf has a "upper" line of their fragrances. I have the Ombre Oud Intense that has the same bottle style as the Bois. It smells amazing and lasts quite a while. Sprays over the front as well.
