When I met my wife back in 2003, we were checking out each other's CD collections and discovered that we both had Big Head Todd & The Monsters. We've always said that we wanted to see them play live. Well, 21 years later, we finally saw them last weekend at House of Blues in Anaheim. It was a great show. Next time, we're going to invite some friends.

Went to see these dudes in Iowa City many years ago. Bouncer asked Todd for his ID to get in the section of the bar with the stage. Todd said he was in the band. The bouncer didn't believe him. I was behind Todd and stepped up to tell the bouncer that this guy was the star of the band. The bouncer let him in. Todd thanked me. I told him my name was Todd also. We had a right on moment and they kicked ass that night. Good dudes.

And I'll love her yet, though she has done me wrong And I'll bring her back, though she has been long gone And I'll always be her Broken hearted savior And every heavy night Takes out the little life that's left within her Every man she gives her love, he takes it And leaves her with a dinner Our love was once a flame, now I'm just a forgotten name Am I the only one to blame for ever loving her? And I'll love her yet, though she has done me wrong And I'll bring her back, though she has been long gone And I'll always be her Broken hearted savior

The passion that goes into these performances is absolutely awesome to me. The lyrics are top notch and the skill is nearly unparalleled. Anyways, y’all have gained a fan for sure. I’m looking forward to going to one of y’all’s concerts next year if I can, hopefully when I’m 21 and can enjoy a good drink too.
