Everyone go rewatch the first, maybe, third of this. Every time the hand comes back into the shot, the tortoise is well within range of biting the baby. Not saying it isn't cute and after the whole video I'm convinced
@vd6070Ай бұрын
@@TheBeardedHydra It's a reasonable concern. Tortoises aren't the brightest animals, they just kinda bite whatever looks foodish and ram into anything that looks like an enemy tortoise. @krystallos81Күн бұрын
It's a good caution. They don't exactly know what is food and what isn't. LOL So big Ike could definitely bite little Ike and that would not make for a good short. Tortoises have a strong mouth and they can do some damage. Still cool to see how tiny they are compared to how giant they can get.

Thats the same way the world should look at abortion. The unborn baby is like a pebble thats will grow to full size. The unborn is precious and valued so, no need to abort.
@itsgl00my88Ай бұрын
@@womanofgod5604no just no this comparison is so fucking braindead lmao 😂 this animal is already born and fully conscious. The time period when most abortions take place is before the fetus shows any signs of consciousness, not even a heartbeat or movement, and the ones that happen after that time period are because they are gRape/incest pregnancies that weren't caught, or because of health complications. Pro choice is the only moral choice.

Turtle usually just leaves their eggs on the beach and the babies just grow up without parents. So I don’t think turtles don’t have parental instinct but they do have herd instinct (which protecting each other and group together) well some species anyway. Maybe I’m just thinking about sea turtles idk about land turtles thou.

Well we know most likely by the reaction the baby is healthy to big Ike. As wild animals have the ability to detect health problems in their own and other species. Both cats and dogs are being used in such incidents. As some dogs are trained in detecting low blood sugars in diabetics and some cats to cancers. Lions do this to. If ever watch Discovery channel. I remember A pack of lions ended up killing one of their baby's from an incident that got the baby hurt. Most likely the infection started and parents couldn't treat it so killed it. Only the strong & healthy survive. Is nature.
