Thanks for your comments. It is a great position to take waiting however with very low inventory waiting might not work for everyone. Yes we will see how things proceed 👍🏻

Good video, but why the headline, "KONA Market Has CRASHED!"? - I get that headlines like that get views, but it leaves the viewer (ie..Prospective client) thinking you are less than truthful. I'm uncertain I would use an agent that markets like this.

Thanks for your comment. We asked the question has the real estate market in Kona crashed not just in our thumbnail but also at the beginning of the video. We have heard that statement in the media over the past year and we were not nor trying to mislead anyone.

Property tax information would be great. What are the holding costs if you buy a single family home in Kona? Based on the median cost.

Great question however not an easy response. Properties taxes can vary depending on whether it is your primary residence or second home. Also if it is your primary residence and you are 60 years old or older, you get a reduction on your property taxes. So without knowing exactly your status for a 1.3 million dollar home you could be paying an annualy property tax somewhere between 6K and 11K would be a safe range. Mahalo for your comment. Probably not going to crash, maybe a slow down in appreciation. However if interest rates get to 5% guess we would see another surge in buyers

@realestatekailuakona possibly in the future. We bought cash in Naalehu. Not sure what route would be best for us. Like to build an ADU in the back, or possibly pull equity to buy another plantation house, problem is they do not come up often, and timing would be an issue.
