I have a personal anecdote about Jay. I had a close friend who was very intelligent but dropped out of Uni to become a stand-up comedian despite everyone encouraging him to just stick with his degree and do comedy on the side. We are from a small rural town in Canada with no scene. He was amazing and after only 6 months - Jay happened across him and invited him on a tour to perform as an opener. It was a life changing experience for him. He said everyone was amazing and it gave him so much confidence to be able to perform and be recognized by the greats. Everyone found it awesome that comedians of this caliber would pay him any attention at all let alone give him such a big opportunity so early in his career :) Big Jay has a Big Heart
