@dliguori25 there were a couple points where Soder was out of his comfort zone which was fun to see him lean into it. Soder is hyperaware of being hacky or a cheese ball and hates being told to "dance" by anyone. Like when he had Soder come out from behind the curtain, that's not Soder's typical wheelhouse. It's good for him to do it though. Soder has been on the brink of breaking big for a decade but hasn't quite done it, even after a huge HBO special, and I think it's because he won't usually go out of his comfort zone. This podcast was great for him.

Is Dan Soder the most underrated comic since Patrice? He s the funniest podcast guest, yet he doesn't have his own podcast. He has great stand up, yet he isnt as famous as Schoulz or Gillis or Normand. I think he s easily a top 5 comic right now.

I’ve been sitting in a store parking lot for the last 20 minutes watching this. I had to FORCE myself to finally pause to get my shit done. This ep is so engaging. Great flow, both playful and sincere. You can see the compassion in Ricky’s face and body language when Soder talks about his dad. Still by far my favorite pod. This episode was so hilarious. I related so much to almost every story they talked about, like Rick's food obsession I am the exact same and also about Dan's dad because my dad also passed away from hep c due to cirrhosis of the liver from drinking too much when I was 7. The entire episode was incredible but the ending was hilarious to me I couldn't breathe because of how hard I was laughing 🤣🙏♥️

Can't wait to watch this, thanks Ricky!! *Jesus I was crying laughing during that feaux late night razzmatazz you two are fucking great together comedically🙏🙏🙏 **shoutout to he-who-shall-not-be-named in the ad reads, those were hilarious as always ***obviously commenting as I watch but as someone with a relatively severe case of Crohn's disease that I've been carrying around since 06 (arms tired etc etc), trust me on this: pick up a cheap double pack of enemas at your local walgreens for when you have severe constipation. It feels weird and uncomfortable when you're using it, but the relief is unmatched. I've got the typical Crohn's where it's the opposite of constipation, however there have been some hellish ups and downs where constipation has been a major problem at times. Hope that helps fellas I love ya ****CAN'T WAIT FOR THE IAN FIDANCE EPISODE BTW
