Would more so say what he has done for hip-hop/rap. Dre had a lot of help on a large amount of his work, but that doesn't stop the fact that he has some of the biggest hits of the genre with the biggest stars of that genre and also helped create/start the career of the best artists/rappers alive. The man is no doubt in my mind in my top 5 rappers. To be more specific maybe not top 5 rappers to spit bars.
