I just got done doing a 6 month trip around SA, NT, and WA and id say unless you know for certain you're going out to do big tracks and stuff, a winch is not a necessity. Ive got one on my land cruiser and didnt even come close to using it once. Might save you a bit of money on something you might not even use :) good job for getting out there and doing it. You'll love it

also not sure if youve got one or not, but getting a UHF will do wonders for your trip. Being able to talk to other campers and truckies on the road is a life saver

@@GeorgeSoan 100% they’re not cheap so definitely worth questioning. Could always leave it off for a bit if you think you’re up for a more serious track grab a winch at the next town you’re in. Happy days

Well done guys. There are very few trayon camper videos released by their owners without endorsement from the manufacturer. The more you show of that box of thicks the better. Is it as good as they make out. Love to know what you think about it as you travel the country. Don't hold back, good & bad please. Where you see that something could be improved. If you included some nice scenery along the way, that will be a bonus. Safe travels.

@@GeorgeSoan I saw an advertisement for a 4WD rental company in Broome that uses them. This tweaked my interest in them. The Trayon will make a great excuse to watch your videos. Have to binge watch to catch, you are moving quickly.

Nice setup, should get you to all the fun places. Those numbers you quoted for GVM are the total vehicle weight with load, to figure out how much you can carry you subtract the weight of the ute from that number.

Thanks! Yep, we weighed the Ute with nothing on the back to find out the weight of the Ute :) We recently changed setups - more videos on my channel showing the new one!
