man there are a lot of questions and mysteries about the floor 2 modifiers and floor 3 but sad thing is, backdoor doesn’t get to have modifiers, nor it will never get them. they’re disabled on the sub-floor.

i have a concept for Wade "everytime you meet Wade in the water they will rush at you, if you get attacked by Wade you will do some minigame that you have to press 10 buttons on your keyboard if your on mobile then the digital keyboard will appear, so all the buttons is "WASD" yeah so it deals 5 dmg to you every 3 seconds, and if you press the wrong buttons a timer will start so you need to do the minigame quickly the timer seconds is "30 seconds", and if you do press another wrong buttons the timer gets faster, if you completed the minigame you will stun Wade for 10 seconds"

yooo sick leaks right on my bday :) i have a floor 2 concept inspired from another commenter: dungeon figure (door 250) -on door 249 you go down a long spiraling set of stairs -opening 250 enters a cutscene that reveals figure -you must find runes on walls and activate them in a specific order as shown on a guide (also on a wall) -after all runes are activated in the correct order, a door opens with a statue holding an axe or sword -taking it enrages figure who enrages into a battle with you -you must use the sword to defend yourself in a duel -after you stun him GL opens the exit door and you must run out in a mini-chase

I got an idea of what the locked rooms would look like in Floor 3. In the first room in each floor, you will get to see what the locked rooms would look like, with the hotel requiring you to find a key, and the mines requiring you to power up a generator. Well, in the first room in floor 3, I thought it would be a good idea if you met the groundskeeper there. When you talk to him, there would be a dialogue where he can't open the first door because it is blocked by vines. He will also say that the vines would instantly grow after cutting it. You will need to find green glowing orbs to prevent the vines from growing again. After exiting the first room, the groundskeeper will stop you in your tracks and give you a scythe, which is used for the locked rooms you will encounter later. And no, it won't take up your inventory, it's just gonna be there for the rest of the floor. Also, I thought it'd be a good idea if the scythe can also be used as a weapon

I have a list of ideas and expansion of ideas that I would love to see in the mines + update if there even is one. Crucifix Necklace: it only works for 3 max and below. Anything higher and it would fail. it is from curious light and is found in the backdoors. there is rusty 1 max, silver 2 max, and gold 3 max. it can be used on seek hand by holding it down with a yellow chain and then it breaks. Journal/bible (you can choose what you want to call it): basically, a charger for the candle, crucifix, crucifix necklace, and bottle of star light. there will be 0-10 papers of ancient text writing that will charge them. papers can be found in the mines and the hotel. when using one it will show a drawing of guiding light when used on the crucifix or the candle showing that it's their properties. same with curious light with the bottle of starlight and crucifix necklace. possessed crucifix: possessed crucifix is a crucifix that was put in a rift. it acts like the normal crucifix but has a bar of 6. 6 resembles the 6 chains that are there while using the crucifix. the slot in the inventory will still be there when the crucifix is done it will appear back in your inventory. if rush there will be max and over, max is the just fits the requirement. over is over the requirement which means crucifix will turn red if used at that point. for instance, if someone uses up 3 of the 6 it would be 3, halt, dread, seek, figure, grumble and ambush if ambush is at 3, would break out of it and go back to attacking you. giggles would use it up to 2, screech would use it up to 2, eyes would use it up completely, hide, dupe would make it to 2, gloombats would make it to 1, rush would make it to 1, and ambush if ambush is rebounding 2 time would make it to 1, would be crucified but it would still use up. if ambush was rebounding 6 times, then it would break free from the crucifix and attack you if you aren't hiding somewhere. Giggles: 1 max. Seek/figure/grumble: ∞ over. Screech: 1 over. Eyes: 3 max. Halt: 3 over. Rush: 2 max. Ambush: depends on how many times he is rebounding, minimum 2 over, maximum 6 over. Gloombats: 2 max. Dread: 4 max. Hide: 1 max. Dupe: 1 max. feel free to alter any of it hide redone: door 50 and door 100 can still not have hide in it and just use figure for the heartbeat minigame. but door 150 will have hide as hide is stronger and will use the heartbeat minigame only in door 150. hide is trying to kick you out when you are trying to not get attacked by grumbles. and you try to stay in until grumble leaves. floor 2 has hide stay in forever and a lot of people don't like it. so, I made alternatives such as however long you stay is how long hide lasts to not let you in, and hide doesn't let you in if you are in their wait for the first sign of hide. April fools: add braces to grumbles because it looks funny. bulk light and strap light: either make the bulk light rarer or swap the bulk light and strap light's durability.

the devs did confirm that there will not be a mines+ update, but there will be updates like modifiers and new subfloors, which will likely also alter the mines itself overtime, just like we've seen with the hotel. they said if you want, you can group the small updates together as mines+, but there will not be an officially named mines+ update.

Some new rooms we're added slowly after floor 2 and in the floor 2 trailer we do see a different minecart section different then to what is in the game currently. So I would guess that's coming as a mines "+" update.

So this is my theory: so at door 100 if you look up the elevator you can see a little bit of seek eyes and in floor 2 seek is the main villain and in floor three if you look after the castle, there is meat so I think figure is going to be the main villain again.
