As someone who mainly plays this event in public multiplayer I would personally rank "Run From It" lower than "Can-Die" as the candy does not just spawn Dread for the person who ate the candy but for everyone in your party meaning your entire party can just wipe if just one person ate the Dread candy in a bad room (I had this happen in a handful of runs in locked rooms w/o the key or lockpicks).

Once I got run from it in that one mines room with a lot different doors. My brother got scared and hid in a locker (and died, of course). There were a bunch of dupe rooms, and I didn't remember which one was correct. I went through like 3 dupe doors and was left at really low health when I finally got the right one. I think run from it makes dread slower because I took a while to get to the correct door. I got pretty lucky having a health boost and speed boost

16:56 Something I've also noticed is that sometimes when you eat I can't stop, it will teleport you backwards after it finishes. I'm pretty sure this is due to some sort of anti-cheat thats supposed to make you not be able to use speed hacks. For the time that you have the speed boost the anti-cheat seems to be off but once you start slowing down after the effect ends it turns back on, so if you aren't already stopped by then it will teleport you back. Honestly it makes it even more disorientating and is definitly a problem if you're trying to run from something with it.

Personally I think the hatred of Jack is justified, as in my opinion, jumpscares are the cheapest form of horror. It is so easy to scare someone by just playing a loud sound with something appearing on screen, compared to actually building tension with something like encountering Figure for the first time.

I got Run From It as the very first candy I ate on one of my Mines runs. Apparently, since you’re not supposed to be able to die before the first door is opened, it sent me back to the broken elevator, and the audio was all messed up (I checked a separate run and apparently Dread distorts the audio heavily, so the Dread audio effect just never stopped).

Fun fact: if you use “I can’t stop” and run into a door with sally or jack you will fall down into the vacuum but instead of being killed by vacuum or being glitched by glitch you get attacked by an entity named “REDSKULL” it’s not glitch because it occurs when rooms fail to load, you hack or exploit, or too many thing happen at once. These have different consequences too Failed room: No HP, All effects cancelled, crucifix has the A-0000 effect, slight speed decrease for 10 seconds, increased luck of glitch. Yeah, the first time you eat it per run can be awful, but you can just eat it before you open the next door. (You have to wait a bit, or else it'll kick in after you open the door.) And yeah, I crucified Dread using it. (And Gloombats using Infested.) It's really not that bad most of the time.
